Gamescom 2026 dates: Opening Night Live and exhibition days
The official Gamescom event page listed the show for August 26–30, 2026, with Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25. Those dates refer to different parts of the event: Opening Night Live preceded the exhibition, and the exhibition’s official opening was August 26. Gamescom’s event page
For public visitors, the City of Cologne event listing gives August 27–30 as the attendance window. That distinction means August 26 was the official opening date, while the listed public-visitor dates began the following day. City of Cologne event listing

Can you still buy Gamescom 2026 tickets?
No. As of October 8, 2026, the event dates have passed. The official Gamescom site has moved on to promoting its 2027 edition, so historical ticket-purchase or code-redemption links should not be treated as proof that 2026 admission is available. Official Gamescom website
During the 2026 sales period, the event page showed ticket-purchase and code-redemption actions. It also said Gamescom camp bookings could provide a ticket code before the official ticket shop opened. Those were historical sales routes, not current offers. The reviewed official information does not establish the precise 2026 ticket-sale opening date or a complete official price list, so exact launch timing and prices cannot be confirmed here.
