Fortnite Winterfest 2024 ran from December 20, 2024, until January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET. Epic announced a daily-present Cabin, seasonal Island changes and quests, plus optional holiday cosmetics in the Item Shop. The event has ended; its Cabin, quests and temporary gameplay items are no longer available as part of Winterfest 2024.
When did Fortnite Winterfest 2024 run?
Epic announced Winterfest on December 20, 2024, and scheduled it to end January 7, 2025, at 9 AM ET. Players could unwrap Cabin presents until the event ended. Epic’s announcement also said that watching the Cabin fire earned bonus XP.
How did the Winterfest Cabin and presents work?
The Cabin was accessed through the Snowflake tab in the Lobby of any Fortnite experience. Epic advertised a new present each day through the event’s end. The announced present contents included digital cosmetics such as Outfits, Back Blings, Pickaxes and Gliders; highlighted rewards included Yulejacket, Peppermint Paraglider and Santa Dogg.
Epic explicitly said the items inside Winterfest 2024 presents were not exclusive to the event and might later become purchasable in the Shop. That statement described a possibility, not a guarantee that any particular item is available now.
