Genshin Impact Version 4.7, “An Everlasting Dream Intertwined,” was announced for June 5, 2024. Its headline additions were three playable characters, the Imaginarium Theater challenge domain, Archon Quest Chapter IV: Act VI, and an increase to the Original Resin storage cap from 160 to 200. These are historical update details; Version 4.7 is not the game’s current version.
What changed in Genshin Impact Version 4.7?
HoYoverse announced Version 4.7 on May 24, 2024, under the English title “An Everlasting Dream Intertwined.” The update’s main changes covered new characters, a recurring challenge mode, a new Archon Quest act, and a higher Resin cap.
Three new playable characters
The characters announced for Version 4.7 were Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. HoYoverse named all three as new playable characters in its Version 4.7 announcement.
Imaginarium Theater
Version 4.7 introduced the Imaginarium Theater, a recurring challenge domain. The first season was scheduled to begin on July 1, 2024, according to HoYoverse’s official update details.

The update details also listed Archon Quest Chapter IV: Act VI, titled “Bedtime Story.” HoYoverse’s published details identify the act but do not provide further information here about its story or quest requirements.
What was the new Original Resin limit?
HoYoverse said the Original Resin cap would rise from 160 to 200 with Version 4.7. That change increased how much Resin could be stored before reaching the cap; it did not mean Resin regenerated faster. The official announcement gives the old and new caps, not a changed regeneration rate.
| Original Resin cap | Before Version 4.7 | With Version 4.7 |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum stored | 160 | 200 |
These are the in-game values stated by HoYoverse in its May 24, 2024 announcement. The change concerned the storage ceiling only.

The Version 4.7 Special Program ended with a one-minute preview of Natlan. HoYoverse described it as a glimpse of the new nation planned to arrive later in 2024; the preview was a forward-looking announcement, not a Version 4.7 feature.
