For a flexible Chasca build, equip four-piece Obsidian Codex, use ATK% sands and goblet with a CRIT circlet, and prioritize CRIT and ATK% substats. Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage leads the inspected weapon recommendations, but alternatives can be better for your account depending on ownership, refinement, and team conditions. Build her team around the elements you want her special charged-attack shells to convert.
What is the best general build for Chasca?
Chasca is an on-field bow DPS whose damage plan centers on her Elemental Skill and the special charged attack she uses during its state. The current general-purpose setup recommended by the inspected build guides is:

- Artifact set: four-piece Obsidian Codex.
- Main stats: ATK% sands, ATK% goblet, and a CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG circlet.
- Substats: prioritize CRIT and ATK%; consider Elemental Mastery for reaction damage and Energy Recharge if your rotation needs more frequent Bursts.
- Weapon: Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage is the leading cited option, with alternatives depending on your inventory and team.
- Talents: Elemental Skill first, then Elemental Burst, then Normal Attack.
Treat this as a starting point rather than a fixed stat formula: the value of CRIT, Energy Recharge, and weapon passives depends on the full build and the team’s rotation. These are guide recommendations, not claims from hands-on testing. Mobalytics’ Chasca guide, updated July 10, 2026, and the Helper Team guide support the core set and stat choices.
Which weapon should you use?
Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage is the top bow in both inspected rankings, but a ranking alone does not settle the best choice for an account. Compare the passive’s conditions, refinement, team support, and the quality of your available artifact substats before spending resources.

#1 Best Overall
- Genshin Impact Natlan Themed Series Character Acrylic Stand - Chasca
| Bow | How the cited guides position it | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage | Leading or best-in-slot recommendation in both guides. | Top cited choice if you own it; compare its value against your other options and build quality. |
| Aqua Simulacra | Mobalytics’ five-star alternative. | A five-star option when it is available to you; the practical result still depends on your build. |
| Flower-Wreathed Feathers | Mobalytics’ recommended four-star choice. | A four-star route to consider if it suits your account better than the available five-star alternatives. |
| Chain Breaker | Mobalytics’ free option. | A no-premium-weapon option named by the guide. |
| Song of Stillness | Mobalytics discusses it as an option when a healer can maintain its passive. | Its recommendation is conditional on healing uptime; it is not a plug-and-play choice in every team. |
The Helper Team also lists alternatives and qualifies some by refinement, healing uptime, or build difficulty. Those conditions can make a lower-ranked bow more useful for your actual roster. Check the Helper Team’s weapon notes alongside the Mobalytics ranking; neither ranking should be read as a universal damage guarantee.
Which artifacts and main stats should you farm?
Best general set: four-piece Obsidian Codex
Both inspected guides recommend four-piece Obsidian Codex as Chasca’s general-purpose set. It also supplies CRIT Rate through its effect, so judge your total CRIT after accounting for the set rather than stacking CRIT Rate from substats automatically. If the set bonus pushes the finished build close to its CRIT Rate ceiling, favor CRIT DMG, ATK%, or other useful stats instead.
Interim pieces and team-specific alternatives
If you do not yet have a strong four-piece Codex, Mobalytics lists two-piece combinations involving ATK%, Obsidian Codex, Elemental Mastery, or Pyro DMG as interim options. Use the pieces with better stats while you work toward a quality four-piece set; do not sacrifice a large amount of useful substat value simply to complete a weaker set immediately.
The Helper Team describes Marechaussee Hunter as a Furina-dependent alternative that performs close to Obsidian Codex in that team. Consider it when Furina is part of your composition and its conditions fit your rotation; outside that stated context, Obsidian Codex is the clearer general recommendation. See the Helper Team artifact guidance and Mobalytics’ artifact options.
Main stats and substats
ATK% sands and goblet are the flexible baseline because Chasca’s damage can be spread across converted elements. A Pyro goblet may compete in a Pyro-focused team, but it is a more specialized adjustment rather than the default. Choose a CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG circlet according to the complete build, including Obsidian Codex’s CRIT Rate contribution.
Prioritize CRIT and ATK% in substats. Elemental Mastery can add value when the team creates reactions, while Energy Recharge is a team-and-rotation question: take enough to use Burst as often as your planned rotation requires rather than treating a guide target as mandatory.
What stats should you aim for?
There is no single target that fits every weapon, artifact roll, and team. As secondary context, Icy Veins recommends these endgame ranges under its assumption of decent artifact rolls and Chasca’s best weapon; they are guide targets, not measured averages or guarantees:
| Stat | Icy Veins suggested range | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| HP | 15,000–17,000 | Guide recommendation assuming decent artifact rolls and Chasca’s best weapon. |
| ATK | 1,900–2,400 | Guide recommendation assuming decent artifact rolls and Chasca’s best weapon. |
| Elemental Mastery | 80–220 | Guide recommendation assuming decent artifact rolls and Chasca’s best weapon. |
| Energy Recharge | 100–110% | Guide recommendation assuming decent artifact rolls and Chasca’s best weapon. |
| CRIT Rate | 55–60% | Guide recommendation assuming decent artifact rolls and Chasca’s best weapon; account for Obsidian Codex’s effect. |
| CRIT DMG | 220–270% | Guide recommendation assuming decent artifact rolls and Chasca’s best weapon. |
These ranges come from Icy Veins, last updated September 27, 2025, so use them as a reference point rather than a current universal requirement. For practical tuning, inspect the build with its set bonuses active: avoid excess CRIT Rate, keep ATK strong, and adjust Energy Recharge to the Burst frequency your team can support.
How should you build Chasca’s team?
Chasca’s special charged attack loads shells whose conversion is influenced by the elements in her party. Team composition therefore affects both the elemental damage mix and the reactions available. The guides emphasize choosing from Pyro, Hydro, Electro, and Cryo teammates to create converted shells and reaction opportunities. Prioritize the reaction plan and supports you can actually field rather than copying a team name without its underlying pieces.
Non-amplifying example
Mobalytics’ July 2026 guide gives Chasca, Iansan, Durin, and Nicole as a non-amplifying example. It illustrates one way to assemble a team around Chasca without treating that lineup as the only answer. The best substitutions depend on which supports you own and how well they sustain the intended rotation.
Amplifying example
For an amplifying plan, Mobalytics lists Chasca, Citlali, Mavuika, and a flex slot. The flex position lets the lineup adapt to your roster and desired support role; the example should not be read as a universal ranking over other reaction plans.
Choosing replacements
The cited guides mention Bennett, Fischl, Mona, and Durin in particular contexts. When selecting among them or other available supports, check whether the team has the element mix you want, can maintain relevant support effects, and supplies enough energy and healing for the rotation or weapon passive you intend to use. The guides’ teams are examples for different rosters and reaction goals, not a single best composition for every account. Mobalytics’ team examples and the Helper Team guide provide the cited team context.

Which talents should you level first?
- Elemental Skill: level this first; Chasca’s important talent scaling is concentrated here, including the gameplay state used for her special charged attack.
- Elemental Burst: level this second for its contribution to her damage.
- Normal Attack: level this last under the cited priority order.
The same Skill–Burst–Normal Attack order is given by the Helper Team and Icy Veins, with Mobalytics explaining why the Skill remains the priority despite the special charged-attack gameplay. Sources: Helper Team, Icy Veins, and Mobalytics.
When should you revisit the build?
Weapon and character additions can change rankings, while new artifacts or team options can change the practical value of a set or passive. The most current detailed guide cited here was updated July 10, 2026; the Helper Team page was inspected October 8, 2026, but does not show a publication date. Recheck recommendations after major game updates or relevant releases, particularly if your team or weapon choice depends on a conditional passive.
