There is no single official “god roll” for the seven refreshed Garden of Salvation weapons: the right perks depend on whether you want PvE add clear, damage utility, or PvP dueling. Bungie’s October 3, 2024 preview highlighted several perk combinations, but presented them as examples—not as a ranked list of best rolls. Use those pairings as starting points, and check each weapon’s current in-game perk pool before chasing a specific combination.

Bungie’s October 3, 2024 This Week in Destiny identified the seven refreshed weapons and called out these perk combinations. The recommendations below explain where those examples may fit; they are activity-based guidance, not official rankings or claims of superior current balance.

How to choose a roll for your activity
PvE add clear and utility
For groups of weaker enemies, prioritize perks that help with kill chains, elemental effects, or ability uptime. Reckless Oracle, Ancient Gospel, and Sacred Provenance have highlighted combinations that can support those goals. Zealot’s Reward’s example is more conditional: Reservoir Burst’s payoff depends on its activation conditions, so it is not automatically a general-purpose damage pairing.
PvP dueling
The cited Bungie preview does not establish a best PvP roll for any of these weapons. Choose perks by the weapon’s role and the stats you value in a duel—such as range, stability, reload, or handling—and verify that the perk combination is in the current pool. A perk example highlighted for PvE utility should not be treated as a PvP recommendation without considering its trigger and the way you engage opponents.

Omniscient Eye and missing examples
Bungie’s article names Omniscient Eye but does not provide a highlighted perk pair in the captured text. That is not evidence that the weapon lacks useful combinations; it means an exact recommendation cannot be attributed to that preview. Inspect its current perks in-game before settling on a roll.
How to pursue a crafted roll
Garden of Salvation weapons became craftable with Update 8.1.0. In its Update 8.1.0 notes, Bungie described a weekly Hawthorne pursuit in the Tower requiring completion of all raid encounters, awarding guaranteed pattern progress until the weapon patterns are acquired. The notes also describe a Hawthorne vendor exchange for one additional selectable Deepsight weapon.

- Check the current perk pool. Inspect the weapon in-game so your target reflects the live item information rather than assuming the October 2024 preview is unchanged.
- Work toward its pattern. If the weekly Hawthorne pursuit and vendor exchange remain available in the current game, use their stated pattern-progress opportunities to pursue the weapon.
- Craft and tune to preference. Once its pattern is available, select a compatible perk combination and weigh the weapon stats you personally value. Perk availability and crafting systems can change, so confirm the current requirements in-game.
What the October 2024 preview does—and does not—tell you
The official perk examples are a useful documented snapshot, not a guarantee that every listed combination remains obtainable or optimal on October 8, 2026. The cited notes do not establish a current roll ranking, drop rate, damage comparison, or the raid’s current featured status. Bungie’s later Garden of Salvation updates include a February 24, 2026 Voltaic Overflow fix and a June 2026 correction to a loot issue; those maintenance updates do not establish today’s raid rotation or validate every weapon’s live perk pool. Check the in-game inspection screen for current perks and the game’s current raid and crafting interfaces for availability.
