For Ghost of Tsushima wallpapers, start with PlayStation’s official wallpaper library or its video-call backgrounds. Both include Ghost of Tsushima artwork, but neither source guarantees that every image is available in 4K, 2K, FHD and HD. Check the downloaded file’s pixel dimensions and orientation before using it; the right fit depends on the screen, not just the resolution label.
Where to download Ghost of Tsushima wallpapers
PlayStation’s wallpaper library
PlayStation’s wallpaper page includes a Ghost of Tsushima section and describes its wallpapers as free. Select an image to download it. The page does not establish that every artwork is offered in all four resolutions named in this article, so inspect each file rather than assuming a complete 4K, 2K, FHD and HD set.

PlayStation.Blog video-call backgrounds
PlayStation.Blog’s August 31, 2020 post, “Liven up your video calls with these PlayStation-themed backgrounds,” also has a Ghost of Tsushima section. Open an image to load its high-resolution version, then save it for a video-call service that supports custom backgrounds. This is a separate collection and download flow from the wallpaper library.
Choose a wallpaper that fits your screen
Resolution labels are useful shorthand, but the actual pixel dimensions and aspect ratio determine how an image fits. A large image can still look wrong if it is cropped heavily or stretched to fill a screen with a different shape.

- Check pixel dimensions: Compare the downloaded file’s width and height with the display’s native resolution. A smaller image may look soft when enlarged; a larger one may need cropping.
- Match orientation and aspect ratio: A landscape image is generally suited to a desktop or TV; a portrait image is generally suited to a phone. If the shapes differ, the device or app may crop, letterbox or stretch the artwork.
- Consider subject placement: For a desktop, keep important artwork clear of icons. For a video call, leave open space where your head and shoulders will appear.
- Use the intended source: The PlayStation wallpaper library provides wallpapers, while the Blog post explains its video-call image flow. Confirm the service or device accepts the saved image.
Do not treat “4K,” “2K,” “FHD” or “HD” as a guarantee about a particular Ghost of Tsushima file. The official pages do not publish a complete catalog of the game’s downloadable images by resolution.
Set a custom wallpaper on PS4
PlayStation’s official instructions use a USB drive to transfer a custom image:
- Copy the wallpaper image to a USB stick.
- Create a folder named
IMAGESin the root directory of the drive and place the image in it. - Connect the USB drive to the PS4.
- On the console, go to Settings > Themes > Select Theme > Custom, choose the USB storage device, then select the image.
PlayStation’s wallpaper page recommends 1920 x 1080 for PS4 and gives 3860 x 2160 for PS4 Pro. The PS4 Pro width is unusually stated; verify the live official guidance and the target display’s dimensions before relying on that figure.

- Open the Ghost of Tsushima image in PlayStation.Blog’s video-call backgrounds post to load its high-resolution version.
- Save the image to your device.
- In your video-call service, upload or select it through that service’s custom-background controls, if supported.
Menu names and supported file requirements depend on the video-call service. The Blog post’s instructions establish the image download method, not a universal upload path for every service.
