Does the Ghost of Yōtei cover fit PS5 Pro?
Yes. Sony announced a Gold cover specifically for PS5 Pro, as well as a separate Gold cover for PS5 slim. They are distinct products for different console model groups, so check the console model listed on the packaging or retailer listing before buying. The announcement does not support treating the slim cover as compatible with PS5 Pro, or vice versa.

What is the difference between the Gold and Black editions?
Gold: kintsugi-inspired
Sony described the Gold finish as inspired by kintsugi, the traditional repair process that uses lacquer and gold. The Gold covers carry the same design inspiration and maker’s seal as the Gold console. The Gold line is the one that includes a PS5 Pro cover and a PS5 slim cover.

Black: sumi-e-inspired
The Black bundle draws on sumi-e ink painting. Sony announced a Black console bundle and a separate Black DualSense, but not a Black console cover. Both limited-edition bundle controllers feature Atsu’s silhouette on the touchpad.
Jason Connell, creative director at Sucker Punch, said the design combines hand-drawn map icons, a kintsugi-style effect inspired by Atsu’s Ghost mask, sumi-e-like brushstrokes and Mount Yōtei at the center of the console design. He said Atsu is spotlighted on the controller.

Yes. Sony announced Gold and Black limited-edition DualSense controllers for standalone sale at a U.S. launch MSRP of $84.99 each. Availability differed by region and variant: Sony’s announced plan listed the Black bundle as a PlayStation Direct exclusive in supported regions, while the Black controller was also planned for select retailers in Japan. Gold products had a broader announced distribution plan through PlayStation Direct where available and select retailers. These were launch plans, not confirmation of current stock.
