Where to get each material
Rainbow Roses and Insignias: collect while exploring
Rainbow Rose is a Fontaine local specialty, so it is one of the clearest materials to gather ahead of time. The cited guides establish its identity and region category, but do not establish a sufficiently verified route or live respawn schedule. Use the in-game map and the item’s source display to find current collection locations.
Fatui enemies supply Insignias. Pick them up as you encounter those enemies and keep track of the three grades, since both ascension and talent leveling require multiple grades in different quantities.

Fragment of a Golden Melody: Legatus Golem
Arlecchino needs 46 Fragments of a Golden Melody from the Legatus Golem in Fontaine. HoYoverse’s Version 4.6 update introduced the Nostoi District and Sea of Bygone Eras; the material guide associates this boss with the required drop. Farm it once the relevant area and boss are accessible.
Order books: Pale Forgotten Glory
Teachings, Guides and Philosophies of Order come from Pale Forgotten Glory, a Fontaine Domain of Mastery for character talent materials. Domain rewards can vary by schedule, so check the in-game domain screen for availability before planning a run.
Fading Candles: The Knave weekly boss
Fading Candle is the weekly-boss talent material associated with The Knave. Its weekly-boss source makes it a separate planning constraint from open-world materials and domain books; it cannot be treated as an unrestricted drop before the relevant boss is accessible.
Agnidus Agate: Pyro ascension material
Agnidus Agate is required in four grades for ascension. Obtain it from appropriate Pyro material sources and use crafting conversion when you need to change grades. Check the live in-game source listing for current quantities and options.

What to pre-farm first
- Gather Rainbow Roses as you explore Fontaine. Their local-specialty status makes them a straightforward open-world stockpile target, although the exact route and live respawn timing should be checked in-game.
- Collect Insignias from Fatui enemies. Keep the grades separate in your checklist because ascension and talents draw on them in different amounts.
- Plan repeatable boss farming for Fragment of a Golden Melody. The boss material is a large fixed requirement, but you need access to the Legatus Golem.
- Schedule Order-book domain runs. Pale Forgotten Glory is the source; use the domain display to check its current schedule.
- Account for The Knave’s weekly drop separately. Fading Candles are weekly-boss gated, so do not assume you can complete that portion before unlocking the source.
- Check your Agnidus Agate and Mora inventory. The game’s material source and crafting tools can help identify what you already own and what can be converted or crafted.
Use the in-game crafting and source displays to verify your checklist
HoYoverse’s Version 5.1 notes say the material-source display reports craftable quantities, and the crafting interface supports filters for character, skill and ascension level. Use those screens to reconcile Arlecchino’s needs against your inventory rather than relying on a static checklist alone; displayed availability and your stock can change as you play.
