A Safehouse in the Hills, GTA Online’s December 2025 update, became available on December 10, 2025. Rockstar highlighted luxury mansions, high-end vehicles, new missions and a tool for creating player-made adventures. It is a past release, not a newly launched or current latest update.
What’s in the December 2025 GTA Online update?
Rockstar’s announcement describes four headline additions: luxury property, vehicles, missions and the Rockstar Mission Creator. The announcement names Prix Luxury Real Estate in connection with the mansions.
- Luxury mansions: Players can pursue a new luxury villa and a place among the city’s elite.
- High-end vehicles: The update adds a fleet of vehicles, though the announcement excerpt does not provide a complete model list.
- New missions: Their story concerns opposing plans for an autonomous surveillance state.
- Rockstar Mission Creator: Players can use the creator to build adventures.
These are the features established in Rockstar’s December 10, 2025 announcement. It does not, by itself, establish a full property or vehicle roster, mission walkthroughs, prices, platform restrictions, or later balance changes.

How can a new player access GTA Online?
A physical copy of Grand Theft Auto V may provide a route into GTA Online for someone who does not own the game, but the update announcement does not confirm current editions, store availability, prices, or platform compatibility. Check the game edition against your console or platform before buying; the announcement alone cannot establish which copy is suitable.
