Find the Red Soldier Ant Egg
Follow the quest route through the Hatchery Anthill
- Go to the Hatchery Anthill and enter through its southern entrance.
- Follow the wire along the left-hand tunnel toward the Red Soldier Ant Egg room.
- Defeat or avoid the Red Soldier Ants along the way, then take a Red Soldier Ant Egg.
The Red Soldier Ant Egg reference also lists egg rooms in the Spider Den Anthill and Toxic Anthill. For the guided Egg Hunt route, use the Hatchery Anthill. This is a Red Soldier Ant Egg—not an ordinary Red Ant Egg.
Hatch the egg and mount the Buggy

Start incubation before the egg spoils
The Hatchery page lists an incubation time of 24 in-game hours, equivalent to 48 minutes in real time. The egg reference reports that an unpreserved Red Soldier Ant Egg becomes rotten after 72 in-game hours; Egg Storage halts that timer. These are community-wiki values rather than official, build-specific guarantees, so use your in-game interface as the final guide. If you have an Egg Storage, keep the egg there until you are ready to hatch it.
