The Helldivers 2 x Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond launched on August 26, 2025, at 5 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. BST. It costs 1,500 Super Credits and includes four weapons, two armor sets, two capes, player cards, the “Rookie” title and a vehicle pattern. The release date is in the past; this is a guide to what the Warbond contains and how its access works.
When did the Halo: ODST Warbond release?
Arrowhead Game Studios announced the launch for August 26, 2025, at 5 a.m. Pacific Time / 1 p.m. British Summer Time. The date and time appear in the PlayStation.Blog launch announcement. The Warbond is therefore already available as of October 8, 2026, rather than awaiting a future release.
What is in the ODST Legendary Warbond?
The Warbond’s announced rewards are four weapons, two armor sets, two capes, ODST-themed player cards, the “Rookie” player title and the Mean Green vehicle pattern. The item descriptions below summarize the features announced by Arrowhead; they are not comparative damage or handling test results.
Weapons
- MA5C Assault Rifle: includes an ammunition counter and built-in compass.
- M6C/SOCOM Pistol: has a laser sight, flashlight and suppressor. Arrowhead described it as the first suppressor in Helldivers 2.
- M90A Shotgun: includes a mounted flashlight.
- M7S SMG: uses caseless ammunition and a non-removable suppressor.
Armor, capes and other rewards
- A-9 Helljumper and A-35 Recon armor: both have the Feet First passive. The A-35 is described as sleeker and stealthier than the A-9.
- Feet First: reduces noise while moving, increases the range for finding points of interest by 30%, and grants immunity to leg injuries.
- Capes: Honored Heirloom and Eye of the Clandestine.
- Other rewards: ODST-themed player cards, the “Rookie” title and the Mean Green vehicle pattern. PlayStation says the pattern applies to the Hellpod, shuttle, exosuit and FRV.
How much does it cost, and how do you unlock it?
Arrowhead’s Warbonds FAQ lists the ODST Legendary Warbond at 1,500 Super Credits. The PlayStation announcement says access requires the base game and game progression. Super Credits can be purchased, and Xbox Wire’s launch coverage also notes that they can be found in-game; rewards are redeemed gradually using medals earned through play.

The Super Citizen Edition’s Warbond Token is valued at 1,000 Super Credits, so it cannot claim this 1,500-Super-Credit Legendary Warbond on its own. You need additional Super Credits to cover the difference.
How Legendary Warbonds differ from regular Premium Warbonds
Arrowhead describes Legendary Warbonds as a distinct tier used for special purposes, including franchise collaborations. Unlike regularly released Premium Warbonds, they have no set release schedule and use different pricing. The ODST collaboration is listed at 1,500 Super Credits in Arrowhead’s FAQ. Xbox Wire’s August 2025 announcement says Warbonds do not expire; that statement is from the launch coverage.

Which armor or weapon should you choose?
The published descriptions provide a feature-based comparison, not a performance ranking. Both armor sets share Feet First, so the official descriptions establish no passive advantage for one over the other. Choose between them based on the set you prefer: the A-35 is presented as the sleeker, stealthier option.
