Into the Unjust launched for Helldivers 2 on September 2, 2025, bringing Terminid Hive Worlds, cave missions, new objectives, and enemy variants. The Dust Devils Premium Warbond followed on September 4. Later patches expanded and adjusted the update line, so their additions should not be mistaken for launch-day content.
What the Into the Unjust launch added
The update shifted the Terminid front to Hive Worlds: planets shaped by the Gloom, with dense fog, towering bug structures, and sprawling underground caves. Arrowhead’s August 26, 2025 announcement described the caves as labyrinthine spaces around a Hive Lung, where limited support from the Super Destroyer makes squad coordination important.

The original 01.004.000 patch notes, published October 23, 2025, specify randomly generated giant cave systems, destructible cave walls, and holes in cave roofs through which players can call stratagems. The notes also advise bringing a flashlight. Caves therefore change more than visibility: their walls and openings affect how squads move and when they can use support.
Hive World objectives
- Destroy the Spore Lung: Descend into the caves and destroy the organ to interrupt the Gloom’s spread.
- Control the GATER: Secure the mobile oil rig as it extracts an oily substance from the Hive World’s surface.
- Other operations: Arrowhead also described resource-extraction and enemy-destruction missions on these worlds.
New Terminid threats
The launch notes name three new enemy variants: the Rupture Spewer, Rupture Warrior, and Rupture Charger. The announcement describes the new burrowing Terminids as threats that can emerge from underground, while the Dragonroach adds an aerial attack: it circles and dives at players. These enemies make the cave-and-surface setting dangerous in different ways, rather than limiting the threat to tunnels.

What the Dust Devils Premium Warbond added
Announced for September 4, 2025—two days after the update—Dust Devils added digital in-game equipment. The official equipment list includes:

How later Into the Unjust patches changed the picture
Into the Unjust continued as a patch-line name after the 2025 launch. The later releases below added fixes, balance work, or content; they are not part of the original September launch package.

Is Into the Unjust the latest Helldivers 2 update?
No. Arrowhead’s Devoid of Liberty 7.0.0 notes are dated October 5, 2026, and the studio’s patch index lists later update families. That establishes that Into the Unjust is not the newest update; the live index is the place to check for the latest version because release status can change.
