How to find the Field Station you’re missing
Use the in-game map markers as a checklist, then search one region at a time. A 2026 guide recommends comparing discovered markers, sweeping by region, and revisiting locations if progression or traversal currently blocks access. It also advises registering a station fully so it remains marked on the map; treat that as the guide’s practical method, not an official developer instruction.
- Open the in-game map and note which Field Station markers you have discovered.
- Compare the unmarked regions with the location table above and focus on one area at a time.
- Use the landmark cue alongside the map. For example, the Wall Field Station is described as a missing brick above the Wheelbarrow.
- If you cannot reach a location yet, leave it for later and return after progressing or finding another route.
- When you find a station, register it fully and check that its marker appears on your map.
Landmark references such as Trowel Gulch and Hedge Ascent can help with orientation, but the available location references do not provide a consistent set of exact coordinates or route-difficulty measurements.

What Field Stations do
Field Stations are small huts scattered around the Backyard. The Grounded Wiki says each contains a Resource Analyzer, Resource Surveyor, and ASL Terminal. The Resource Surveyor remains unpowered until you complete the Hedge Surveyor Outpost; the ASL Terminal remains unpowered until you complete the Oak Lab.
Finding stations can also help with exploration: if you die without setting a bed as your spawn point, choosing Respawn returns you to the closest discovered Field Station, according to the wiki.
