The ARC Raiders Server Slam is over. Embark announced that it would run October 17–19, 2025, but a contemporaneous report citing the game’s official Discord put the actual server shutdown at midnight PDT on October 20 in Los Angeles. That was later than an initially circulated October 19 cutoff. The available sources do not establish whether Embark described the later time as an extension or a correction to placeholder timing.
When did the ARC Raiders Server Slam end?
The best-supported practical answer is midnight PDT on October 20, 2025, in Los Angeles. MP1st reported that this was the shutdown time shared on the official ARC Raiders Discord. Embark’s October 17 announcement gives the event’s date range, October 17–19, but does not specify the final hour. MP1st’s October 19 report and Embark’s announcement therefore document different parts of the schedule.
The date matters: “October 19” was the announced final calendar date, while the reported shutdown fell just after midnight in Los Angeles, at the start of October 20.
Was the playtest extended?
The later reported cutoff was after an earlier time attributed to the official Discord event listing: 8 a.m. PDT on October 19. A Steam Community post reproduced that earlier listing on October 14. The reproduced listing is secondary evidence; the later midnight cutoff is reported by MP1st as coming from the official Discord.

That establishes that the reported shutdown time was later than the initially circulated one, but not why it changed. The available sources do not show whether Embark called it an extension or corrected a placeholder time. Embark’s official announcement and Epic’s store listing both gave the October 17–19 date range, without specifying the final shutdown hour. Epic’s listing corroborates the announced dates.
What was the Server Slam?
Embark described the Server Slam as a limited pre-launch test to check backend and matchmaking stability and give players a hands-on preview ahead of the full launch on October 30, 2025. It covered Dam Battlegrounds and initial progression; it was not the full game. The official announcement said the test was available on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with no sign-up or code required.
Was there a reward?
Epic’s Server Slam listing described an in-game backpack reward for participants, delivered after purchasing the full game at launch. It was a digital cosmetic, not a physical item. Epic Games Store’s event listing describes the reward and its purchase condition.
