Where to find Helphen’s Steeple
According to the community guide Game8, Helphen’s Steeple drops from a Tibia Mariner in the Mountaintops of the Giants, near Castle Sol and the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook. This is a late-game area, so the weapon is not an early pickup.
Defeat the Tibia Mariner in that location to obtain the greatsword. The available location reference does not establish a guaranteed drop rate or a specific route from a Site of Grace.
Helphen’s Steeple requirements and attack values
Game8 lists the weapon’s attribute requirements, weight, and base attack values as follows. The attack figures are in-game weapon statistics.

For a Strength/Intelligence character, the 22 Intelligence requirement is an important part of the investment: meeting the Strength requirement alone is not enough to use the weapon effectively as intended. The listed Dexterity requirement is comparatively modest, but still must be met.
What Ruinous Ghostflame does—and what is established
Helphen’s Steeple has the weapon skill Ruinous Ghostflame. The available references identify the skill but do not provide enough detail to state its exact effects, duration, damage, or performance against other weapon skills. Treat those specifics as in-game mechanics to verify on the weapon’s skill description rather than relying on an unsubstantiated damage claim.

What the weapon’s description means
The in-game Helphen’s Steeple item description calls it a “Greatsword patterned after the black steeple of the Helphen, the lampwood which guides the dead of the spirit world.” That wording connects the weapon to the game’s imagery of a lampwood guiding spirits; it is item text, not dialogue attributed to a named character.
Is Helphen’s Steeple a good fit?
It is a candidate for builds that can meet its Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence requirements and want a greatsword with both physical and magic base attack values. Whether it is better for a particular character depends on upgrade level, attributes, enemies, and preferred weapon skill; the cited guide information does not establish a tested winner or quantified advantage over alternatives.

Its acquisition timing also matters: because it is found in the Mountaintops of the Giants, it is more useful as a late-game build option than as a weapon to plan around for the opening areas.
