What the first PS2 footage showed
On December 27, 2025, Engadget reported that Retroid had revealed final product images and gameplay videos of the Pocket 6 emulating PlayStation 2 games. The report establishes that gameplay footage was published; it does not provide independent testing or measurements. Engadget’s report
What the footage can—and cannot—tell you
The clips are an early demonstration that PS2 emulation was running on the device. They do not establish how a representative range of games performs: the report provides no game-by-game compatibility results, frame-rate or resolution measurements, emulator settings, or independent test results. Treat the footage as a demonstration, not a guarantee that all PS2 games will run well.
