When did it come out on Switch and PC?
The Nintendo Switch and Steam PC versions released on January 30, 2025. Nintendo lists that date on its Australia product page, and Steam gives the same date for the PC release, developed and published by Sunblink.

What do you do in Hello Kitty Island Adventure?
The story begins on an abandoned island that needs restoring. You explore its regions, befriend Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, and other Sanrio characters, and take on quests based on their interests. The game’s activities include crafting and cooking gifts, solving puzzles, fishing, catching critters, gardening, customizing your avatar, and decorating cabins. Sunblink’s Steam listing describes eight unique regions and more than 40 characters; those are publisher-listed figures, not independent measurements.
It is best understood as a cozy, character-led adventure with life-simulation activities, rather than a game focused on combat. Hello Kitty’s official-site message captures the emphasis: “you can never have too many friends!”

Nintendo Australia describes a Deluxe Edition that includes the base game and three bundles: legacy event clothing and cosmetics, starter resources, and crafting materials. Its event bundle is advertised as containing more than 300 unique items and rewards. Nintendo Canada’s catalog listed Wheatflour Wonderland, City Town, and Tea Garden DLC at the time of access; catalog availability and edition contents can change by region and over time.
