How to unlock the snorkel
- Raise Kuromi’s friendship to level 6. That is the requirement for the “Deep Diving” story quest, according to the Hello Kitty Island Adventure Wiki and Apple’s App Store guide.
- Start and complete “Deep Diving.” Follow the quest objectives. Completing it gives you the Snorkel crafting plans.
- Craft the snorkel. Open the game’s crafting interface and follow the recipe displayed there. A complete, verified ingredient list is not established by the cited sources, so use the current in-game recipe rather than relying on an unverified list.
How to build friendship with Kuromi
Give Kuromi gifts to increase friendship. Apple’s guide suggests a jack-o’-lantern made from a pumpkin as a two-star gift. It is one supported option, not a guarantee of a particular amount of progress or the fastest way to reach level 6.

What the snorkel does—and how it differs from flippers
