Lingsha is a Fire character on the Abundance path who heals and cleanses allies while dealing AoE damage and supporting Break damage. Her Skill summons Fuyuan, an autonomous follow-up attacker that also heals and removes debuffs. The July 2024 leak captured preliminary Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 beta details; later character references provide the values and mechanics summarized here.
What does Lingsha do?
Lingsha combines team sustain with damage. Her attacks hit multiple enemies, while Fuyuan adds follow-up attacks, healing, and debuff removal. Her Ultimate also inflicts Befog, making enemies take more Break damage for two turns.
Her Basic Attack, Votive Incense, deals Fire damage to one enemy. The rest of her kit centers on team-wide effects and Fuyuan.
How does Fuyuan work?
Lingsha’s Talent, Mistdance Manifest, summons Fuyuan when she uses her Skill. In the later character reference, Fuyuan starts with 90 Speed and three action counts, can hold up to five, and disappears when its count reaches zero or Lingsha is knocked down. Each action deals Fire damage to all enemies, with an additional hit against a target selected under the reference’s targeting conditions. It also heals all allies and dispels one debuff from each.

Her Skill and Ultimate can also bring Fuyuan’s next action forward, so the companion’s turns are an important part of her healing and damage cycle.
Lingsha’s abilities
Skill — Smoke and Splendor
Deals Fire damage to all enemies, restores HP to all allies, and advances Fuyuan’s action by 20%. It summons Fuyuan through her Talent if the companion is not already active.

- Honkai: Star Rail Fugue 1/8 Figure Stellar Luck Ver.
Ultimate — Dripping Mistscape
Deals Fire damage to all enemies, restores HP to all allies, advances Fuyuan by 100%, and applies Befog to all enemies for two turns. The later references list Befog as increasing Break damage taken by 15% at level 1 and 25% at level 10. Those percentages are level-specific ability values, not a single fixed value across all levels.
Technique — Wisps of Aurora
Using the Technique summons Fuyuan at the start of the next battle and inflicts Befog on all enemies for two turns. The character reference describes it this way: “After using Technique, immediately summons Fuyuan at the start of the next battle and inflicts ‘Befog’ on all enemies, lasting for 2 turn(s).”

What did the Lingsha leak say, and what changed?
A Reddit post labeled “HSR – 2.5 BETA,” attributed to the account Dim, circulated preliminary kit details in July 2024. It is useful as a record of what was reported during testing, not as the final ability reference. The later Star Rail Station reference lists different values for two notable details:
| Detail | July 2024 beta leak | Later character reference |
|---|---|---|
| Fuyuan initial Speed | 80, according to the archived beta post | 90, according to Star Rail Station |
| Befog Break damage taken increase | 15% at level 1 and 30% at the leak’s stated maximum level | 15% at level 1 and 25% at level 10 |
Because the leak is preliminary and its maximum-level notation differs from the later reference’s level 10 value, do not combine the two versions. For current ability descriptions and level-specific values in this article, the later reference is the appropriate one to follow.
How do Lingsha’s traces and Eidolons affect the kit?
Her progression effects add benefits beyond the base abilities. The surfaced character reference describes the Vermilion Waft trace as converting a portion of Break Effect into Attack or outgoing healing. It also lists Eidolon effects that include Break Efficiency and enemy DEF reduction at E1, a team Break Effect increase at E2, and enemy resistance reduction at E6. These are unlocked progression effects, not abilities included in Lingsha’s base kit.

A community-authored HoYoLAB guide dated October 3, 2024 recommends Outgoing Healing Boost for the body, Speed for the feet, Attack for the planar sphere, and Break Effect for the rope. Its stated stat priority is Break Effect, then Speed, then Attack. Treat these as that guide’s recommendations rather than a universal best build; the guide says its kit information comes from Hoyowiki.
