House Party is Eek! Games’ single-player, choice-driven comedy adventure for PC. You attend a party, talk with guests and take on tasks, but its Mature 17+ rating—covering nudity, strong sexual content, language, drugs and alcohol, mature humor, and violence—makes it unsuitable for many younger players.
What is House Party?
House Party is a comedy adventure and social simulator from Eek! Games, LLC, not a film or another work with the same title. Steam describes it as an edgy adventure inspired by 1990s comedies, where player decisions affect the story and characters have their own revelations. The ESRB describes its play as social simulation with point-and-click elements: you talk with party guests, fetch items, carry messages and play pranks.
It is a single-player game. The Steam listing gives July 15, 2022 as its release date and names Eek! Games as both developer and publisher. Steam store page
Is House Party appropriate for teens?
The ESRB rates the Windows PC game Mature 17+. Its rating categories include mature humor, nudity, strong language, strong sexual content, use of drugs and alcohol, and violence. The ESRB says some story paths contain sexual content and brief scenes shown from obscured angles; it also notes fistfights, drinking and references to recreational drugs. This is adult-oriented material, so parents and players should review the rating details rather than infer suitability from the party-comedy premise.

Does House Party support controllers or Steam Deck?
Steam lists full controller support. In release notes dated October 5, 2026, Eek! Games identified version 1.5.2.14289 and said it improved controller navigation, scrolling, selection highlights and readability on Steam Deck. These are the developer’s stated interface improvements, not an independent performance assessment or a guarantee about every configuration. Store details and availability can change.
Are there story add-ons or physical merchandise?
Eek! Games announced a Doja Cat story DLC on September 12, 2022, describing a branching adventure in which the player helps her create a music video. That announcement establishes the add-on’s concept, but not how it is currently packaged or sold; check the current store listing for availability and edition details. Eek! Games official site
