What Switch 2 games have confirmed dates?
The following are examples, not a complete schedule. Nintendo’s US upcoming-games catalog is a live, US-market listing, so dates and availability can change and should not be treated as worldwide physical-release information.
| Game | Status or date shown | Source and scope |

| Fading Echo | September 17, 2026 | Nintendo’s September 9, 2026 Direct recap gave this date. The date has passed as of October 8, 2026; check the game’s current listing for release status. |
| Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 | October 16, 2026 | Listed in Nintendo’s US upcoming-games catalog at the time reflected in this article. |
| Hela: of Mice & Magic | December 1 | Nintendo’s September 9, 2026 Direct recap gave this date; the recap example cited here does not specify a year. |
| Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis | February 12, 2027 | Listed in Nintendo’s US upcoming-games catalog at the time reflected in this article. |
| Final Fantasy VII Revelation | April 8, 2027 | Listed in Nintendo’s US upcoming-games catalog at the time reflected in this article. |
For the store examples, consult Nintendo’s US upcoming-games catalog for its current listing. Nintendo’s September 9, 2026 Direct recap is the source for the Direct dates and windows.

Which Switch 2 games have a release window rather than a date?
Far Cry titles
Nintendo’s September 9, 2026 Direct recap describes two Far Cry titles as coming in spring 2027. That is a seasonal window, not a specific release date. The recap is a dated announcement checkpoint rather than a permanent calendar, so consult the official page for changes.
What does “coming to Switch 2” mean in these listings?
A title announced for Switch 2, a game listed as a Switch 2 release, and an existing Switch game or upgrade are not automatically the same thing. The official catalog and Direct recap provide examples of upcoming titles, but the sources cited here do not resolve a complete list that also includes digital-only releases, backward-compatible Switch games, upgrades, downloadable content, and regional exclusives. Check the individual game page for its edition and platform details before buying.

Are these all the Switch 2 games?
No. The dated titles above are a selection of examples supported by Nintendo’s cited US store and Direct materials, not an exhaustive global catalog. Nintendo’s May 2026 investor-relations slide is explicitly a selection of announced first-party Switch 2 titles planned for May 2026 and beyond; it is not a list of every publisher’s game. Nintendo’s Direct archive can help track announcement checkpoints, but no single source cited here establishes every title across regions and release types.
For updates, compare Nintendo’s US upcoming-games catalog with the relevant regional store and each game’s official page. The May 8, 2026 first-party titles slide is useful specifically for Nintendo’s announced first-party selection, while the Nintendo Direct archive records presentation dates and topics.
