Bethesda’s general PlayStation guidance recommends signing out of PSN, rebooting the console, and signing in again. There is no verified universal fix for every trophy or platform; the steps below separate that account-sync check from the game-specific issue Bethesda documents for “All Sugared Up.”
Work through these checks first
- Read the full requirement. Open the platform’s trophy or achievement list and check the exact unlock criteria. Some trophies require several particular actions, not just a broad milestone. Bethesda recommends confirming the requirement before treating a missing trophy as a fault. Bethesda’s PlayStation trophy guidance.
- Check the save and profile. Confirm the required actions were completed in the save you are using and on the intended platform account. If you have more than one save or profile, check the one that should receive the trophy.
- Allow for a delayed update. Bethesda says network or connection trouble can delay a trophy’s appearance. A delay is a possible explanation, not proof that the game has registered the unlock.
- Refresh the PlayStation trophy list. Bethesda’s suggested sequence is to sign out of PSN, reboot the console, and sign in again from the main screen. Then check the trophy list again.
- Retry the exact required actions. If the trophy remains missing after checking the criteria and refreshing the list, repeat its required steps where practical. Bethesda Support says it cannot manually unlock trophies.
- Escalate to the right support route. For an unresolved PlayStation trophy, contact PlayStation Support as Bethesda recommends. If you suspect a game defect, submit it through the official Hogwarts Legacy community page’s “Report a Bug” route. Include the trophy name, platform, game version, steps already tried, and whether the save has mods.
If the missing trophy is “All Sugared Up”
Bethesda documents a specific restriction for this trophy: using mods on a save prevents trophy earning on that playthrough. Turning mods off later does not restore eligibility on that save. Bethesda’s stated route is to start a new game without mods if you want to earn the trophy. This warning is specific to the documented modded-save case; it does not establish that mods explain other missing trophies. Bethesda Support’s guidance.
Check which kind of progress is missing
An in-game collection counter and a platform trophy or achievement are different things. If an in-game counter has not changed, check the relevant in-game requirement; if a platform award is absent, use the platform’s trophy or achievement list and account-sync checks instead. Steam lists Hogwarts Legacy as a single-player game with Steam Achievements and directs users to official support: Steam’s game listing.
For a PlayStation game on PC, Sony documents opening the PlayStation overlay with Shift+F1 and selecting Trophies. Sony also says trophy progress is tied to the game being played and is valid across PC and console where the title supports play on both. What is and is not established about the issue
Bethesda’s guidance supports checking unlock criteria, allowing for connection delays, refreshing the PlayStation trophy list, retrying the actions, and contacting platform support when the problem persists. Its “All Sugared Up” warning covers a particular modded-save scenario. Player posts describe individual missing collectibles and trophy or achievement problems, but those reports are anecdotal and may involve different saves and game versions; they do not establish how widespread the issue is or prove a universal workaround. The official community page provides a bug-report route, but the sources do not confirm a current, cross-platform status for a broad trophy-tracking defect. Player discussions.
When asking for help, provide the exact trophy name, platform and edition, game version, save involved, whether mods have been used on that save, and what you have already tried. Those details help distinguish a missed condition or sync delay from a possible game-specific defect.
