The encounter has multiple phases, with a faster third phase, so save offensive Tools for the finish.

How to reach Skarrsinger Karmelita
- In Act 3, obtain Silk Soar and use it to reach the hidden route from Hunter’s March into Far Fields.
- From the Pilgrim’s Rest bench, head toward the upper-right and find Karmelita’s statue.
- Continue to the northern Far Fields bench and use Elegy of the Deep at the final resting place to begin the memory encounter.
A short enemy gauntlet comes before Karmelita appears: defeat the Skarr Scouts, Stalkers, and Last Claws. The encounter is a fight against Karmelita in her memory, at her youthful peak.
How to approach the fight
Phases one and two: punish openings
Guide-reported advice favors hit-and-run attacks rather than trying to trade blows. Let Karmelita close distance, evade the attack she commits to, then strike during the recovery. Twirl Slash and Triple Slash can leave openings; a Needle bounce may also be possible after Razorspin Dive lands or Bone Charge crosses the arena.

Phase three: keep Tools in reserve
Karmelita’s third phase is reported to be faster, with shorter openings. Save offensive Tools—especially Tacks and Cogfly—so you can use them when safe opportunities arise instead of spending them early.
Choose when to jump
Jumping can clear broad ground attacks and create pogo opportunities, but it is not a safe default. Aerial Curvesickles and Razorspin Dive make lingering in the air near Karmelita dangerous. Jump over a clearly telegraphed ground attack; otherwise, return to the ground and watch for her next move. If she jumps toward Hornet to start Razorspin Dive while you are cornered, Swift Step under her is one suggested escape.

Attack tells and counters

| Twin Curvesickles | She bows before throwing two blades: one travels horizontally and the other diagonally upward. In phase two, another pair may follow. | Make room and move through the gap between the blades. Stay ready for a second pair. The thrown blades can be deflected with the Needle. |
| Aerial Curvesickles | She leaps, pauses, and throws blades downward; they then sweep horizontally. A second set may appear in phase two. | Move away from her landing zone and track the blades as they change direction. Avoid floating near her while this attack is starting. |

Healing, Crests, and Tools
Heal during a committed move
Look for a moment when Karmelita is occupied with another attack and choose a position outside its path. Her Razorspin Dive can reach unsafe healing spots; one guide-reported example is to Bind above her path during Bone Charge. Warding Bell is also suggested as protection during a heal, if you have it.
Optional loadout choices
There is no required build. One late-game guide suggests Pale Nails, Witch Crest, Cogfly, and Warding Bell, with Reaper Crest and Architect Crest as alternatives. Cogfly can contribute passive damage while you focus on dodging. Another guide favors Beast Crest for its short Bind animation and the openings between attacks; it cautions that Witch Crest can be difficult to Bind with in this fight and that Shaman Crest requires a grounded Bind. Choose around the gear you have and whether you value safer healing or more damage opportunities.

Rosary Cannon projectiles are reported to be ineffective because Karmelita is immune to them.
