PlayStation’s documented settings let you hide selected games from other players, limit who can see your activity, or appear offline. They do not document a way to delete one individual past activity entry. Choose the setting that matches what you want hidden.
Hide selected games from other players
PS5
- From the home screen, open Settings > Users and Accounts > Privacy.
- Select View and Customize Your Privacy Settings.
- Choose Hide your games from other players, then select the games to hide.
PlayStation says activity in a game on this list is not displayed to other players. See PlayStation’s privacy settings guide.
PS4
- Go to Settings > Account Management > Privacy Settings.
- Select Hidden games and choose the games.
PlayStation says information about a hidden PS4 game does not appear in activities, your profile, or your trophy list. However, other PS4 players may still see the game you are currently playing in Now Playing. To reduce visibility of your current presence, also set your status to Appear Offline.
Choose the right setting for what you want to hide

Hide a game from your library
Library hiding affects what you see in your own library; it is separate from hiding activity on your profile. On PS5, open Game Library > Your Collection, highlight the game, press the options button, and select Hide. On PS4, open Library > Purchased, highlight the title, press OPTIONS, and select Do Not Show Content Item in [Purchased]. You can reverse library hiding from the library’s hidden-items view. Limit who can see activity and gaming history
For broader controls, open the console’s privacy settings and customize the audiences for activity, gaming history, online status, and current play. On PS5, use Settings > Users and Accounts > Privacy; on PS4, use Settings > Account Management > Privacy Settings. PlayStation says privacy settings are tied to your account and reflected across devices. The online privacy guide also provides account-management settings.
Appear offline to reduce presence visibility
On PS5, select your profile and change Online Status. On PS4, go to Profile > Set Online Status. In the PlayStation App, open Profile > Online Status. Appearing offline changes your presence status; it does not delete activity history. PlayStation cautions that other players may still invite you to voice chat or online games, and you may appear online within a game. See PlayStation’s online-status guide.

Review connected third-party apps
Authorized apps can receive some account data, including online status and gameplay information. In Account Management > Authorized Apps, review connected services and unlink any you no longer want connected. PlayStation documents routes through the console and PlayStation App in its authorized apps guide.
