For Football Manager 26 PC/Mac, enter the 20-digit code from the insert inside the game packaging on the official Football Manager redemption website—not directly in Steam or Epic Games. Choose one platform, then use the separate activation key sent by email to finish on that platform.
Redeem your Football Manager code
- Find the code. For the packaged FM26 PC/Mac game, look for the 20-digit SEGA code on the insert inside the packaging.
- Open the official Football Manager redemption page. Enter the code and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Choose Steam or Epic Games. The redemption entitles you to one copy on one platform; the official FAQ specifies Epic Games for FM26 PC only. Select the platform account and client where you want to play, because the FAQ directs anyone who chose the wrong platform to contact support.
- Check your email for the platform activation key. It goes to the address you enter during redemption. That address does not have to match the email on your Steam or Epic account.
- Activate the emailed key on the platform you chose. Follow the instructions for that platform. For Steam, launch Steam and sign in, then select Games > Activate a Product on Steam and follow the prompts. The box code is for the Football Manager redemption site; the emailed platform key is the one to enter on Steam or Epic.
If the activation email does not arrive
Check the Junk Mail or Spam folder for the email address entered on the redemption site. The official FAQ says to allow up to 20 minutes. If the key has not arrived after that, contact Football Manager support.
If a code is rejected or the wrong platform was selected
The redemption site says the code is used or invalid
Contact Football Manager support and provide proof of purchase plus a clear photograph of the complete code, as the official Redeem FAQs request. Keep the code private; do not post it publicly.
Steam or Epic rejects the emailed key
Confirm that you are entering the platform key—not the original box code—and that it is being entered on the platform selected during redemption. If the key and platform match but activation still fails, contact support.
You chose the wrong platform
Contact support for help. The official FAQ does not promise that a platform selection can be changed or that a replacement copy will be provided.
FM26 availability in Brazil
The current official FAQ says Football Manager 26 cannot be redeemed or activated in Brazil. This restriction is stated specifically for FM26; it should not be assumed to describe every Football Manager edition or every country.

Direct store purchases are different
If you bought FM26 directly from Steam or the Epic Games Store, the official installation announcement dated 2025-10-22 says to quit and restart the relevant client to install. A purchase from a participating digital retailer that supplies a code follows that retailer’s code-activation instructions instead.
