Use Hypixel’s official Forums appeal form, not a Support ticket. First read the exact reason shown when you try to join, link your Minecraft account to your Hypixel Forums account, then submit one appeal for the relevant punishment. “IP ban” alone does not identify the restriction or its cause, so follow the route that matches the message you see.
Identify the restriction before appealing
Hypixel’s punishment guide says the ban reason is shown when you attempt to log in to the server. Read that message carefully and review the rules related to the stated punishment before submitting an appeal. The official guides describe server bans and suspicious-activity account blocks, but do not define every restriction a player might call an “IP ban.” Don’t infer the cause from that phrase alone.

Appeal a standard Hypixel server punishment
- Link your account. Link the Minecraft account involved in the punishment to your Hypixel Forums account. If you cannot use the in-game linking command, Hypixel says you can join
forums.hypixel.netto obtain an account-linking code. - Open the official appeal form. Submit the appeal in the Hypixel Forums Appeals section at https://hypixel.net/appeals/create. Hypixel’s support request page also directs players to https://hypixel.net/appeals.
- Explain the case clearly. Include relevant information and, when it helps explain what happened, evidence hosted through one of the image or video services Hypixel lists in its guide. Hypixel may not disclose internal proof where privacy or sensitive-information concerns apply.
- Submit one appeal for that punishment. Hypixel says a second appeal for the same ban or mute is not available. If the appeal is denied, the decision is final.
Hypixel says appeals sent by email, private message, or other routes will be redirected to the appeal process. Its appeal guidance also states that a response is final and will not change (Hypixel Support, “About the Hypixel Watchdog System,” updated April 25, 2025).
If the message says “Suspicious Activity Account Block”
Hypixel says this block may be issued when its systems or moderators detect unusual activity suggesting an account could be compromised. The appeal still goes through the forum process, but Hypixel’s separate guidance also asks players to secure the account. Support does not process Suspicious Activity Account Blocks.

Do not use a standard Support ticket to appeal an ordinary punishment. Hypixel’s support request page says its team cannot revert account punishments, provide additional punishment details, or process appeals. Payment-related bans are identified as a separate Support-ticket category; for those, follow the payment-related option on the support request page (Hypixel Support request page).

What to avoid
- Do not send duplicate appeals for the same punishment or expect a denied decision to be reconsidered.
- Do not treat a VPN, alternate account, paid unban service, or purchased account as an appeal solution. Hypixel’s appeal instructions do not endorse these as ways to lift a restriction.
- Do not assume the restriction is an IP ban just because that is how it is described informally. Use the exact connection message to choose the relevant appeal route.
