You can’t change your account’s age yourself in Clash of Clans. Supercell says its support team cannot increase an account’s age, but its public guidance does not explain whether it can correct an age entered by mistake. If you believe your age was recorded incorrectly, contact Supercell through the game and ask about your account.
Can you change your age in Clash of Clans?
Supercell’s Young Players support article says, “Support cannot increase the age of your account.” It does not describe an in-game age-editing setting.
The guidance does not distinguish between a request to make an account appear older and a request to fix an incorrect age entry. It therefore does not establish whether support can correct a genuine mistake. Contact support to ask about your specific account, but do not assume it will change the recorded age.
How to contact Supercell about an incorrect age
- Open Clash of Clans.
- Go to Settings > Help & Support. Use the contact or chat option to explain that you believe the age was entered incorrectly. Supercell’s Parent’s Guide directs players to contact game support this way when its help articles do not answer their question.
- Keep the request focused. Explain what you believe is wrong and provide any account details support asks for through the official channel. Never share your password or verification codes.
Supercell’s Clash of Clans Support page is another official help resource. The available guidance does not promise that support will approve an age correction.

What happens to a Young Player account?
Supercell says the age supplied on a Young Player account updates each year on the account’s creation-date anniversary. It says the account becomes a standard account when it reaches age 16. This is an automatic progression described by Supercell, not a way to edit the age manually.
Young Player accounts can also differ in game features and data processing. Supercell lists examples across its games, including no personalized offers or ads, access only to Family Friendly groups such as clans, and stricter chat filters. The article describes these as examples across Supercell games; it does not confirm that every example applies in the same way to Clash of Clans.

- Supercell says support cannot increase an account’s age; its guidance does not say whether support can correct a demonstrable entry error.
- The cited guidance does not recommend making a replacement account as a fix.
