Raise the HarvestAmountMultiplier setting above 1.0 to increase the materials players get from harvesting. On a hosted server, change it in the control panel or in GameUserSettings.ini under [ServerSettings], then save and restart the server as your host requires.

HarvestAmountMultiplier=2.0
The ARK Official Community Wiki lists 1.0 as the default and explains that higher values increase materials harvested per strike: GameUserSettings.ini configuration reference. A value of 2.0 illustrates a twofold configured multiplier; it is not a guarantee of an independently measured outcome in every gameplay situation.
Apply the change on a hosted server
- Stop the server first if your host instructs you to do so.
- Open the host’s control panel and look for a harvest-yield setting, or use its file browser to edit
GameUserSettings.ini. - Set
HarvestAmountMultiplierabove1.0. Increase it in measured steps and choose a rate that suits your server; the documentation does not establish one universally appropriate value. - Save the configuration and restart the server so the host applies it. Nitrado’s ARK: Survival Ascended Server Configuration Guide, dated 2023-10-25, describes a stop, edit, save, and restart workflow.
Panel labels, file paths, and restart procedures can differ by game version and provider. Follow the instructions for your specific server rather than assuming every host uses the same interface.

If the multiplier has no effect
- Confirm the entry is in
GameUserSettings.iniunder[ServerSettings], not in the wrong file or section. - Check that the configuration was saved and the server restarted.
- Look for a host-panel setting, event configuration, or server override that may govern rates; the available documentation does not establish one universal cause for conflicting settings.
- Consult your provider’s instructions for the game version and server setup you use.
Version and provider scope
The community wiki configuration references cover ARK: Survival Evolved and ARK: Survival Ascended. Nitrado’s cited editing workflow is specifically for ARK: Survival Ascended. For another version or host, verify the corresponding settings and procedure in that provider’s documentation.
