Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo get an EA ID, create an EA Account and choose an ID during setup. EA calls this ID the Public ID: it is the identifier other players can see. If you already have an EA Account, sign in and check Account Information to find the ID you have.
What is an EA ID?
An EA ID is the same as an EA Public ID, and EA sets it up when you create an EA Account. It identifies you to other players on EA games, websites, EA Forums, and the EA app. It is not your account email address.
EA requires an ID to be unique and between 4 and 16 characters. The company advises against using your name or other identifying information. An ID may be rejected if another player already has it or EA’s security filter flags it. EA’s EA ID guidance has the account rules and change instructions.
How to create an EA ID
-
Start creating an EA Account through EA Help, the EA app, EA.com, or an eligible game. Some games may let you create an account through the platform or a mobile device. The available route depends on the game and platform; EA does not say every option is available everywhere.

If EA says your chosen ID is taken or flags it, try a different ID that meets the requirements. If you see an error suggesting you already have an EA Account, try signing in rather than creating another account.
How to find an EA ID you already have
Sign in to your EA Account and open Account Information. Your EA ID appears there. If you cannot sign in, use EA’s account recovery options rather than attempting to create a duplicate account.

- Requires internet connection.
How to change your EA ID
To update it, sign in, open Account Information, select Edit beside your EA ID, enter the replacement, and save. EA limits changes to once every 30 days, and the new ID must still meet its uniqueness and content rules. EA Help’s EA ID instructions provide the official account guidance.
