When did Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5 release?
HoYoverse’s Version 2.5 update notice gave the start as “2024/09/10 06:00:00 (UTC+8)” and said maintenance would take approximately five hours. The notice is reproduced in a September 10, 2024 post on r/HonkaiStarRail.
Why do some sources say September 9?
The announced time was in UTC+8. Converted to UTC−5, it was 22:00 on September 9. The different calendar dates reflect the time-zone offset, not conflicting release schedules.
What was included in Version 2.5?
The update, titled “Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue,” introduced the Skysplitter area, new story content tied to the Xianzhou Luofu’s Luminary Wardance, and the characters Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze, according to the reproduced update notice.
