For the version 4.6 build, equip Sparkle with A Grounded Ascent, 4-piece Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal, and Lushaka, the Sunken Seas. Use a CRIT DMG body, Speed feet, an HP% or DEF% sphere, and an Energy Regeneration Rate rope. The main tuning decision is Speed: choose it for your team’s action-value plan rather than treating one target as mandatory.

Best Sparkle build at a glance

Slot or investment Version 4.6 recommendation
Light Cone A Grounded Ascent (S1)
Relics 4-piece Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal
Planar ornaments Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
Body CRIT DMG
Feet Speed
Planar sphere HP% or DEF%
Link rope Energy Regeneration Rate
Substats Speed to a relevant breakpoint, then CRIT DMG, then HP, DEF, or Effect RES
Trace order Skill > Ultimate = Talent > Basic

This recommendation follows HSR Build’s version 4.6 build section, updated September 26, 2026. The page’s FAQ has older recommendations that conflict with that section, so use the dated build section rather than the FAQ. Its gear order is based on Prydwen in-play measurements, rephrased by HSR Build; both are unofficial guides, not HoYoverse sources. HSR Build’s Sparkle guide and Prydwen’s Sparkle guide are useful references, but recommendations can change with patches.

Best Sparkle Light Cone

HSR Build’s listed order compares specific Superimpositions and team contexts; it is a guide ranking, not a guarantee that the first option is best for every account. Choose around the team’s needs and the cones you own.

Rank Light Cone and listed Superimposition Why to consider it
1 A Grounded Ascent (S1) Strong utility for teams that spend Skill Points heavily: energy, a damage buff, and periodic Skill Point restoration.
2 Earthly Escapade (S1) Sparkle’s signature option supplies team CRIT buffs, though Prydwen describes it as offering less utility than A Grounded Ascent.
3 Dance! Dance! Dance! (S5) An action-advance option that can support a team’s rotation.
4 But the Battle Isn’t Over (S1) Another listed option; compare its value with your team’s energy and Skill Point needs.

Favor Skill Point restoration when your carry consumes points faster than the team can comfortably supply them. If the rotation already has enough points and you want to tune turn order, an action-advance option may be more useful. A CRIT-oriented team can value Earthly Escapade’s buffs. The ranking reflects the listed cone levels and team assumptions, so it should not replace that comparison.

Sparkle relics and planar ornaments

Default relic set: Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal

The 4-piece set is the straightforward support choice: it boosts the supported ally’s CRIT DMG and Sparkle’s Speed. It fits a build that wants to strengthen a damage dealer while maintaining Sparkle’s turn frequency.

Speed and action-value option: Eagle of Twilight Line

Use 4-piece Eagle when you are building around specific action-value breakpoints. Timing Sparkle’s Ultimate can affect the intended result: the guides warn against using it during her turn or close to her next turn while pursuing those breakpoints. Verify the rotation in the mode and team you are optimizing.

Rank #2
HOYOVERSE Honkai: Star Rail Fugue 1/8 Figure Stellar Luck Ver.
  • Honkai: Star Rail Fugue 1/8 Figure Stellar Luck Ver.

Flexible relic option: Messenger Traversing Hackerspace

Messenger is another listed set. If you do not have a satisfactory 4-piece set, Prydwen also discusses combining 2-piece bonuses rather than forcing a poor-quality full set.

Planar choice: Lushaka and alternatives

  • Lushaka, the Sunken Seas: A strong default when Sparkle supports one ATK-based damage dealer and benefits from Energy Regeneration.
  • Broken Keel: Consider it for a CRIT-oriented ally if Sparkle meets the set’s Effect RES condition; HSR Build notes 30% Effect RES for this choice.
  • Penacony, Land of the Dreams: A possible fit when supporting a same-element team.

Match the ornament’s condition to the carry and the rest of the team instead of selecting a set only because it appears on a general ranking.

How much Speed does Sparkle need?

There is no universal Speed target. HSR Build’s guidance is to reach the breakpoint your team needs, or build as much Speed as possible. Prydwen gives conditional endgame targets for three turns within 150 action value; these are optimization targets, not baseline requirements for ordinary play.

Endgame setup described by Prydwen Speed target
Without the specified Eagle or Dance! Dance! Dance! setup 200
With 4-piece Eagle or S5 Dance! Dance! Dance! 184
With both 4-piece Eagle and S5 Dance! Dance! Dance! 167.4

Prydwen states that permanent Speed buffs, including Sparkle’s E1 or Ruan Mei’s, lower those targets. The figures depend on the stated setup and action-value goal; do not treat them as targets independent of relic effects, cone, team buffs, or mode.

Rank #4
Good Smile Company Honkai: Star Rail – Aventurine Nendoroid Action Figure
  • A Good Smile Company import
  • From the popular game
  • Three face plates included for multiple expressions
  • Optional parts include three dice, a perfume bottle, a hat, glasses, and a roulette sheet
  • Enjoy recreating all kinds of poses

In practice, first decide whether Sparkle should act before a particular ally or meet a defined turn schedule. Account for action advance and permanent Speed buffs already present, then improve Speed until the intended sequence works. If you are not optimizing a specific rotation, prioritize useful Speed substats without sacrificing survivability to chase an endgame number.

Stats and trace priority

Main stats and substats

  • Body: CRIT DMG, which supports Sparkle’s CRIT DMG-based Skill buff.
  • Feet: Speed.
  • Planar sphere: HP% or DEF% for survivability.
  • Link rope: Energy Regeneration Rate.
  • Substats: Speed for the chosen breakpoint, then CRIT DMG, followed by HP, DEF, or Effect RES as needed.

Trace investment

Prioritize Skill > Ultimate = Talent > Basic. For major traces, the guides prioritize Artificial Flower (A4) > Nocturne (A6) > Almanac (A2).

What Sparkle does for a team

Prydwen’s patch 4.0 guide describes a materially updated kit, so older descriptions should not be assumed to match the current version. In that guide, Sparkle’s Skill grants CRIT DMG and advances one ally by 50%, with the buff lasting two turns. Her Ultimate restores six Skill Points and handles overflow; her Talent increases the team’s Skill Point cap and adds a damage-vulnerability effect, alongside further support effects described in the guide. HSR Build lists the Ultimate’s Energy cost as 110 and describes the Skill’s CRIT DMG buff as scaling from Sparkle’s own CRIT DMG plus a flat amount.

These mechanics explain why Sparkle is particularly relevant to Skill Point-intensive carries: she can help fund their turns while advancing an ally and improving damage. As reviewer Sushou puts it, “Sparkle’s biggest draw has always been her ability to restore SP on demand with her Ultimate, as well as her benefit of increasing the SP maximum of the whole team.” Prydwen’s guide discusses the patch 4.0 kit changes.

Example Sparkle teams

These are team examples from the version 4.6 HSR Build page and Prydwen’s guide, not mandatory lineups. Choose based on the characters available, the encounter, mode, and investment.

  • Seele / Silver Wolf / Sparkle / Fu Xuan: An example centered on Seele as the damage dealer.
  • Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae / Sparkle / Tingyun / Huohuo: A listed option for a carry whose turns can put pressure on Skill Point supply.
  • Qingque / Sparkle / Tingyun / Fu Xuan: Another example built around a Skill Point-using damage dealer.

The guides also discuss alternatives for Yunli and Jing Yuan, and Prydwen highlights Skill Point-intensive damage dealers such as Archer. Sparkle can also be paired with other supports; assess whether the team can sustain its Skill Point spending and whether its carry benefits from her CRIT and turn-advance support.

  1. Skill Point balance: Estimate how many points the carry spends and whether Sparkle’s cone and Ultimate can support that rotation.
  2. Energy needs: Prefer useful Energy Regeneration when reaching the next Ultimate sooner improves the team’s rhythm.
  3. Carry’s damage profile: Consider CRIT support for a CRIT-oriented ally and Lushaka when the single carry is ATK-based.
  4. Turn order: Set Speed around the action-value target and existing action advance, not in isolation.
  5. Set conditions: Check Broken Keel’s Effect RES condition or Penacony’s same-element fit before committing.
  6. Inventory and substats: A well-rolled available set or cone may serve better than a nominally higher-ranked option with poor stats.
