Then find Khadgar at Krasus’s Landing, accept Armies of Legionfall, and follow it into Assault on the Broken Shore. Completing that scenario takes you to Deliverance Point.
Start the later Broken Shore campaign
- Travel to Legion Dalaran. This is the city in the Broken Isles, not Northrend Dalaran.
- Check for Uniting the Isles. If you still need it, find Khadgar in the Violet Citadel and complete the quest as directed.
- Speak to Khadgar at Krasus’s Landing. The landing is near Dalaran’s flight point. Pick up and complete Armies of Legionfall.
- Take Assault on the Broken Shore as the follow-up and start the scenario. Complete it to reach Deliverance Point, the Legionfall base on the Broken Shore. Blizzard’s Patch 7.2 preview describes this destination after the assault scenario.
Why Uniting the Isles may be required
Uniting the Isles is the World Quest unlock associated with the original Broken Isles zones. Blizzard’s Legion World Quests guide described the original requirement as Friendly reputation with the five zone factions. That is historical Legion guidance, not a current level requirement; the character’s existing progression can affect whether the quest is still needed or how it is offered.
Blizzard forum guidance identifies completing Uniting the Isles as a prerequisite for the Broken Shore starter sequence. It also reports that characters with another character’s unlock may see an easier version that can simply be turned in. See the forum discussion about reaching the Broken Shore and the forum discussion of the Broken Shore questline.
If Khadgar or the quest is missing
- Confirm the Dalaran version. The relevant Khadgar is in Legion Dalaran in the Broken Isles.
- Check Uniting the Isles. Look in the Violet Citadel and review your quest history to see whether you still need to complete or turn it in.
- Check Krasus’s Landing afterward. Khadgar’s Broken Shore campaign quests are at the landing, not in the Violet Citadel.
- Look for a later campaign quest. A skip, boost, or prior completion may have marked the introduction complete, so the original starter may no longer appear.
- Verify your character’s quest state before assuming it is a bug. If the chain remains absent, the cited guidance does not establish one dependable fix for every phasing or bug case; check completed quests and your current in-game state.
Do not confuse the two Broken Shore scenarios
The original Broken Shore invasion was a pre-expansion Legion event. Blizzard’s August 23, 2016 announcement described that event and its then-current level-98 entry point. That number is historical, not a present-day requirement.

The sequence Armies of Legionfall → Assault on the Broken Shore is the later Patch 7.2 return and campaign. Blizzard’s March 15, 2017 preview described the then-max-level solo scenario; its level wording is also historical. If you are asking about Legionfall or the 7.2 story, follow the later campaign steps above.
