To keep a build for reuse later, save and load it with a structure block or, in Bedrock, the /structure commands. Bedrock Editor also has a visual clone workflow, but it requires launching the game in Editor mode. Commands need permission; enabling cheats in a Bedrock world permanently disables achievements for that world.
Choose the right copy method
| What you need | Method | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Duplicate a region in the current world | /clone |
You need the source-region corners and destination coordinates. |
| Save a build and place it again later | Structure block or Bedrock /structure commands |
You need to define a bounding box and save the build under a name. |
| Select and duplicate visually | Bedrock Editor | You must launch Minecraft in its dedicated Editor mode. |
The command and structure syntax below is documented for Bedrock. Check your edition and version before relying on edition-specific controls. On multiplayer worlds, you also need sufficient permissions to run commands.
Copy a region now with /clone
Microsoft Learn describes /clone as a command that copies blocks from one area and pastes them into another in its Popular Commands documentation. You give it two corners that bound the source area, followed by the destination corner.
Find the source and destination coordinates
Identify the minimum and maximum coordinates that enclose the build, then choose the destination coordinate where the copied region should begin. The destination vector marks the lower northwest corner of the copied region. Minecraft’s official command guide notes that Tab can autocomplete coordinates for the block you are looking at when a command requests coordinates.

- Minecraft is a game about placing blocks and going on adventures
- Explore randomly generated worlds and build amazing things from the simplest of homes to the grandest of castles
- Play in creative mode with unlimited resources or mine deep into the world in survival mode, crafting weapons and armor to fend off the dangerous mobs
- Play on the go in handheld or tabletop modes
- Includes Super Mario Mash-Up, Natural Texture Pack, Biome Settlers Skin Pack, Battle & Beasts Skin Pack, Campfire Tales Skin Pack; Compatible with Nintendo Switch only
Enter the command
The documented Bedrock syntax is:
/clone <begin: x y z> <end: x y z> <destination: x y z> [maskMode] [cloneMode]
For example, /clone 0 64 0 10 70 10 20 64 0 copies the region bounded by those first two coordinates to the destination coordinate. Use the coordinates for your own build and target rather than copying the example blindly.
Choose how air and the source area are handled
maskedcopies non-air blocks only, leaving destination blocks untouched wherever the source contains air.replaceis available in the documented command examples when the destination should be overwritten by the copied region, including its air blocks.movecopies the region and clears the original. Since it changes the source as well as the destination, verify both locations before running it.
Use the official Bedrock /clone command reference for the complete syntax and accepted mode values.

Save and reuse a build with a structure
Structure blocks let you save a build by name and load that saved structure elsewhere. The official Bedrock structure-block tutorial documents both an interface workflow and the /structure commands.
Use the structure-block interface
- Use Creative mode and place a structure block for the build you want to save.
- Choose a structure name and position the block so its bounding box encloses the build. The tutorial also describes using corner mode.
- Adjust the box’s size and offset until it covers the intended area, then save the structure.
- To create another copy, load the saved name at the target location and adjust its offset or rotation as needed.
Save and load with commands
The tutorial documents these Bedrock command forms:

- CREATE YOUR WORLD — Build whatever you imagine in an infinite world that’s unique in every playthrough.
- EXPLORE AND CRAFT — Discover biomes, resources, and mobs, then craft your way through a sandbox world filled with surprises.
- SURVIVE THE ADVENTURE — Face mysterious foes, travel across exciting landscapes, and venture into perilous dimensions.
- PLAY TOGETHER — Play cross-platform with friends in Bedrock Edition on console, mobile, and PC, or join community servers in Java Edition on PC, Mac, and Linux. Online console multiplayer requires a platform-specific subscription (sold separately).
/structure save <name> <from: x y z> <to: x y z> [saveMode] [includesEntities] [includesBlocks]/structure load <name> <to: x y z> [rotation] [mirror] ...
Its example saves in memory mode and loads the structure at a relative location with a 90-degree rotation. The tutorial’s example structure is smaller than 64 × 384 × 64 blocks; that is a constraint stated for that documented Bedrock workflow, not a universal limit for every Minecraft edition or copying method.

- The classic UNO card game builds fun on game night with a Minecraft theme.
- UNO Minecraft features a deck and storage tin decorated with graphics from the popular video game.
- Players match colors and numbers to the card on top of the discard pile as in the classic game.
- The Creeper card unique to this deck forces other players to draw 3 cards.
- Makes a great gift for kid, teen, adult and family game nights with 2 to 10 players ages 7 years and older, especially Minecraft and video game fans.
Use Bedrock Editor for a visual workflow
Bedrock Editor provides selection, cloning, and movement tools in its dedicated Editor mode. Minecraft’s Creator Tools page describes launching that workflow through the Creator Tools tab in the Minecraft Launcher. This is an Editor-mode workflow, not a universal keyboard shortcut for copying in ordinary play.

Commands only work when the world or server grants you permission. For Bedrock single-player, Allow Cheats is in world settings; turning it on permanently disables achievements in that world, even if you later turn cheats off. Java single-player has an Allow Commands world option. On multiplayer worlds, an operator or other authorized player may need to grant the required permissions. Minecraft’s command introduction covers command access and coordinate use.
