To get through Greymoor, enter from Far Fields, find Shakra and the area map, then open the balloon routes across Craw Lake to reach higher paths and checkpoints. From there, choose whether to face Moorwing or pursue the caravan route that a third-party Greymoor guide says can bypass its arena. Collectibles and the late-game Passing of the Age location are optional cleanup.
Greymoor is a partly flooded cave region of groundwater rain, misted fields, ruined towers and Crawbugs. The steps below follow routes reported by third-party guides; their pages do not identify a game patch or build, so treat route specifics as guidance rather than version-verified instructions. How do I get through Greymoor?
This route prioritizes getting oriented, opening traversal options and reaching a checkpoint before you detour for items. If you prefer to discover the region yourself, use the map as a reference rather than following every turn.
1. Enter from Far Fields and find Shakra
- Enter Greymoor from Far Fields and ride the vents up to the surface.
- Head right to find Shakra and buy the Greymoor map. The route guide gives the price as 70 but does not identify the currency unit in the passage; check the in-game display before purchasing.
- Note nearby levers and boulders as you explore. The map and landmarks can help you track paths that open later.
2. Open the Craw Lake balloon routes
- Follow the right-hand path toward Craw Lake. Learn the Craws’ dive patterns before committing to a jump or attack.
- Open the gate by dealing with the Tallcraw, then clear the arena encounter beyond it.
- Pogo off a balloon and strike the ceiling lever. The route guide says this raises balloons around Craw Lake, creating access to higher paths.
- Use the raised balloons to climb above a building and reach a bench checkpoint.
These steps are reported by the community-maintained Greymoor map and route guide; the source does not identify the game build, and the route has not been independently verified here.

Which route should I take to Moorwing?
The Greymoor guide presents Moorwing as the region’s major boss encounter and describes two possible approaches. It does not establish which route is faster or whether the options provide different rewards.

Where are Greymoor’s key collectibles?
Once the balloon paths are open, use the area map to revisit branches you passed on the way to the checkpoint. The Greymoor guide reports these locations:
- Reaper Crest: In the Chapel of the Reaper on Greymoor’s western side. The guide describes reaching it through opened higher paths and overcoming the Chapel’s challenges.
- Threefold Pin: Among the upper platforms in eastern Greymoor, accessible by the balloon routes.
- Lost Flea: In a lower western section near the mills.

Where is the Passing of the Age location in Greymoor?
The late-game Mister Mushroom step for Passing of the Age is above the building that contains the Chapel of the Reaper. According to PC Gamer’s quest walkthrough, climb the similar building farther to the right, then cross the upper platforms toward the location above the Chapel building.
This is completionist content rather than part of the basic Greymoor route: the quest step requires Silk Soar, which the walkthrough says is obtained during Act 3.
