To host an Advanced Raid in Blox Fruits, unlock the specific raid first: Phoenix requires 400 Phoenix mastery and the Sick Scientist interaction in the Sea of Treats; Dough requires defeating Dough King and using the Red Key to reach the Cake Scientist. The currently listed Advanced Raids are Phoenix and Dough. Once unlocked, buy a raid chip for 1,000 Fragments or a qualifying physical fruit worth more than 1,000,000. These steps reflect recently updated community-wiki information, not official developer documentation.
Which Advanced Raid are you trying to unlock?
Phoenix and Dough have separate hosting prerequisites; completing one route does not unlock the other. Choose the route for the raid you want to start.
| Raid | Hosting prerequisite | Where to complete the unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Phoenix | 400 Phoenix mastery and the Sick Scientist unlock interaction | Sea of Treats |
| Dough | Defeat Dough King, then use the Red Key to access the Cake Scientist | Cake Scientist’s room |
The steps are reported by the Blox Fruits Wiki raid reference, the Phoenix Raid reference, and the Dough Raid reference. The wiki pages provide current walkthrough detail, but they are community sources rather than official developer instructions.
How to unlock Phoenix Raids
- Raise Phoenix to at least 400 mastery.
- Travel to the Sea of Treats and find the Sick Scientist.
- Complete the Sick Scientist’s unlock interaction for Phoenix raids.
Afterward, Phoenix Raid Microchips can be purchased from the Mysterious Scientist. The Phoenix Raid reference says the unlock remains available if you switch away from Phoenix. If you have not completed the unlock, you can still join a Phoenix raid hosted by another player; the 400-mastery and Sick Scientist requirements apply to hosting, not joining another host’s raid.

Buying a chip and starting a raid
After unlocking the relevant raid, an Advanced Raid Microchip is listed at 1,000 Fragments or one physical fruit valued at more than 1,000,000. The raid reference, updated September 24, 2026, gives these chip costs; the fruit option refers to a physical fruit, not simply having that value in currency.

“Unlocking” usually means gaining the ability to host that raid by purchasing its chip. Joining a raid hosted by another player is a different action. The Phoenix Raid reference explicitly says you can join another player’s Phoenix raid without first meeting the hosting unlock requirements; it does not establish the same exception for Dough, so do not assume the Phoenix rule applies to Dough.
