There is no universal waiting period published in Roblox’s current payout documentation. A 14-day wait is commonly reported by Roblox players, but it is not confirmed as a guaranteed current rule; reports about verified groups also conflict. The payout page checks whether a recipient is eligible, so treat the status shown there as the practical guide for your group.
What is the reported Roblox group payout wait?
Roblox Developer Forum participants have commonly described a 14-day membership wait before a person can receive group funds. One participant stated on August 19, 2021, that a user must be in a group for “14 days (2 weeks)” before becoming eligible for payouts. That is a historical community statement, not a current Roblox policy announcement. Roblox Developer Forum, August 19, 2021.
More recent forum reports do not establish a different universal rule. A November 2025 report described a 14-day wait in a verified group while contrasting it with an expected three-day wait; a December 2025 report also described a verified group with a 14-day wait. These are reports from individual users, not confirmation that verified groups get a three-day exception—or that every group must use the same period. November 2025 report; December 2025 report.
Roblox Creator Hub explains that payout recipients are checked for eligibility but does not publish a specific number of membership days. Roblox Creator Hub: Group payouts.

Who can send group funds?
The question is about the recipient’s eligibility to receive group Robux. A payout is initiated by the group owner or a member who has the appropriate group revenue permission. Roblox identifies “Manage and spend group revenue” as the permission for managing community revenue and making payouts. Roblox Creator Hub: Roles and permissions.
Roblox supports one-time payouts and recurring percentage splits through a community’s Revenue section. The group payout feature transfers community Robux to members. Roblox Support: Group Revenue Payouts; Roblox Support: Group Experiences.

What to check if a member cannot receive a payout
- Confirm the recipient is still in the group. The eligibility check concerns membership and the recipient’s payout eligibility.
- Use the group’s Payouts page. The owner or a member with the revenue permission can access it and check the recipient’s current status. Some groups may not initially have the page unlocked; Roblox says group age or insufficient funds can be among the reasons. Roblox Creator Hub: Group payouts.
- Check whether payout functionality is temporarily unavailable. Roblox periodically verifies funds to prevent fraud and abuse, and payouts may be unavailable during verification. Roblox also says group funds count as earned Robux only when they come from bona fide sales. Roblox Support: Group Revenue Payouts; Roblox Support: Group Revenue Payouts.
- Contact Roblox Support if the block remains. If the interface still marks the member ineligible after the commonly reported period, use Roblox Support. The available guidance does not describe a universal appeal process for this particular eligibility block.
Does group verification reduce the wait to three days?
Do not rely on that as a guaranteed shortcut. The three-day figure appears as an expectation in a November 2025 community report, while reports from both November and December 2025 describe 14-day waits in verified groups. Roblox’s published payout guidance reviewed here does not confirm either a three-day verified-group rule or a universal 14-day rule.
