What does Sony list as the DualSense weight?
Sony’s PlayStation FAQ states that the DualSense wireless controller weighs approximately 280 g. Sony’s instruction manual likewise gives an approximate mass of 280 g and identifies a built-in lithium-ion battery. Sony does not provide a tolerance range or specify a precise measurement configuration, so the figure is best treated as a rounded manufacturer specification rather than an exact weight for every unit or setup.
How large is the standard DualSense?
The same PlayStation FAQ lists approximate dimensions of 160 mm × 66 mm × 106 mm (width × height × depth), excluding the largest projection. These dimensions provide context for the controller’s size; they do not change the stated approximate weight.
Does that weight apply to the DualSense Edge?
No weight for the DualSense Edge is established by the cited specifications. Sony lists the DualSense Edge as a separate controller product, so the standard DualSense’s approximate 280 g should not be attributed to it without a model-specific specification.
