It depends on how you’re getting Robux. Roblox gives no universal delivery window for every purchase, but says completed purchases delayed by an outage or maintenance are applied within an hour in most cases and within 24 hours at most. Gift-card redemption, creator earnings, and transfers follow different rules.
How long does it take to get Robux by method?
| Method | What triggers Robux | Timing Roblox states | Where to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Robux purchase | Purchase completes | During outages or maintenance, most completed purchases are applied within an hour and at most within 24 hours. Roblox does not state a universal processing window for purchases in normal conditions. Roblox Support | Account balance and My Transactions |
| Gift card or retail code | Code is successfully redeemed | No general processing-time estimate is stated in Roblox’s redemption instructions. Roblox Support Roblox Support | Look for the redemption confirmation message and check the account used |
| Experience Pass earnings | Pending escrow is released | Roblox says these earnings are held in pending status, but does not specify a release duration. Roblox Support | My Transactions |
| Robux transfer | Transfer is accepted and completed | Roblox says a completed transfer is added instantly. Eligibility, recipient acceptance, and parental approval for some younger users may affect completion. Roblox Support | Account balance and My Transactions |
| Premium stipend | Monthly stipend is awarded | Roblox says Premium awards a stipend once every month; the balance help page does not establish a universal posting date. Roblox Support | My Transactions |
Where are my Robux?
First confirm you’re signed in to the account that made the purchase, redeemed the code, or earned the Robux. Roblox’s balance help page explains that you can view your balance in the app or on the website. On the web, select the Robux balance to open My Transactions.
In My Transactions, look at the category that matches what you’re checking. Roblox lists currency purchases, Premium stipends, purchases, sales of goods, creator rewards, and group payouts. A transaction record can help distinguish a completed purchase from earnings that are still pending.
If you used a gift card or retail code
- In a web browser, go to roblox.com/redeem.
- Sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the credit before entering the code. Retail codes credit the account signed in when they are redeemed.
- Submit the code and look for Roblox’s confirmation message. The redemption instructions do not promise that every redemption follows a separate fixed wait time.
If the credit is missing, check the signed-in account and the confirmation before trying to redeem the code again.

If a purchase is delayed or the charge looks unusual
Roblox’s estimate of an hour in most cases and no more than 24 hours applies to completed purchases delayed during service issues or maintenance. It is not a general delivery guarantee for every purchase. If Robux are still missing, check the account balance and My Transactions rather than assuming the purchase has completed.
A pending card authorization is also not proof that Robux were delivered. Roblox says a declined charge or temporary verification fee may remain pending and return to the card within 1–10 business days. That is a card-return estimate, not a Robux delivery estimate. Roblox Support
