Defeat Plantera, then buy the Tiki Mask, Tiki Shirt, and Tiki Pants from the Witch Doctor. Each piece costs 50 gold, for a total of 1 platinum 50 gold. You do not need to carry or equip a Pygmy Staff in current versions.
Steps to unlock Tiki Armor
- Get the Witch Doctor to move in. He can move into town after you defeat Queen Bee, provided a vacant house is available. See the Witch Doctor’s housing and entry conditions.
- Defeat Plantera. This is the listed shop availability condition for all three Tiki armor pieces.
- Buy the set from the Witch Doctor. Open his shop and purchase the Tiki Mask, Tiki Shirt, and Tiki Pants. Each costs 50 gold.
If Tiki Armor is missing from the shop
Check that Plantera has been defeated. You do not need a Pygmy Staff in your inventory: Desktop version 1.4.0.1 removed the old inventory requirement, and the current shop listings use Plantera’s defeat as the availability condition. The Terraria progression guide also notes the Pygmy Staff requirement applied before 1.4.

What the full Tiki set gives you
Wearing the Tiki Mask, Shirt, and Pants together grants 35 defense, 30% summon damage, 30% whip range, and four additional minion slots, according to the Official Terraria Wiki’s Tiki armor page.
Version and platform notes
The Official Terraria Wiki’s Tiki armor page covers Desktop, Console, and Mobile. It directs players on Old-gen console and Nintendo 3DS to separate legacy information, so check the relevant version-specific guidance if you play on one of those platforms.
