If Roblox suspended your whole account for one day, read the moderation notice and use the appeal option it provides if you believe the decision was wrong. An appeal asks Roblox to review the action; it does not guarantee the ban will be removed. If the notice is for Error Code 267, the ban applies to one experience, not your Roblox account, and you must contact that experience’s creator.
First, check what was banned
Read the message Roblox displayed or sent. An account-level moderation action restricts your Roblox account. By contrast, Error Code 267 means an experience creator banned you from that specific experience. You can still use other experiences and platform features.
If Roblox suspended your account
Use the appeal route named in the moderation notice. Roblox directs eligible cases to Violations & Appeals; other cases go through the Roblox Support Form. The notice indicates which route applies. Roblox’s appeal instructions explain the process.
If an experience creator banned you
Roblox Support cannot remove a creator-issued experience ban or contact the creator for you. Reach out to the creator using Roblox messaging or chat, the experience’s community wall, or social links the creator has made available.

How to appeal a 1-day account ban
- Read the notice. Note the stated reason, duration, and appeal route.
- Use the route in the notice. If the violation appears in Violations & Appeals, choose Appeal there, briefly explain why the decision merits another review, and check for updates in that system. Otherwise, follow the Support Form option.
- For the Support Form, identify your account. Provide your username, use an email address valid for the account, and give a short, factual explanation of why you are appealing.
- Submit one appeal and keep the response. Only the account owner may appeal. Roblox says it will not review a duplicate appeal for the same moderation action after that action has already been reviewed.
Roblox’s general deadline is 30 days from the moderation action. For users in the European Union, Roblox states that an initial action may be appealed within six months. Check the notice and current appeal guidance for the applicable route and deadline.
Can you get back in before the day is over?
An appeal is a request for review, not a way to force immediate access. If the one-day restriction ends before Roblox reviews your appeal, the restriction may already have elapsed. Roblox does not publish an appeal success rate or average processing time for one-day bans, so there is no reliable basis for promising an early reversal or estimating how likely one is.

Why Roblox may issue a one-day suspension
Roblox says enforcement can range from warnings and content removal to account restrictions, with duration depending on the case’s severity and impact. It also considers account history and repeated violations. Its content moderation overview describes these factors; the specific reason in your notice is the relevant explanation for your action.
The Roblox Terms of Use gives hate speech as an example that may result in a warning or a suspension of one day or longer, with termination possible for repeated behavior. That example does not establish why any particular account was suspended.

Avoid ban-evasion and recovery scams

Do not share your password or account credentials. The official procedure for an account moderation action is review through the route stated in Roblox’s notice.
