Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteBuild an infection streak, then defeat a Kaiju, Manic, or Hebi. A Strange Crystal may drop when that character dies, and the available community wiki pages agree that a higher streak improves your chances. They disagree on the exact streak needed, so treat any specific threshold as uncertain.
How to get a Strange Crystal
- Build an infection streak by infecting other players.
- Defeat a Kaiju, Manic, or Hebi while the streak is active.
- Check for a Strange Crystal after the character dies; it is a chance drop, not a map pickup or ordinary shop purchase.
The Shop page and Transmogrifying Items page say that a higher infection streak raises the chance. The latter describes the drop as guaranteed at around 15 infects, but the wiki pages conflict on the qualifying streak and mechanics. Do not rely on that number as a confirmed current-game threshold or expect a precise drop rate.
What to do with the crystal
Craft a Diamond Crate
The Shop page lists a recipe requiring eight Strange Crystals to craft a Diamond Crate. If that is your goal, keep the crystals until you have the full amount.
Check the sale interaction in-game
The Shop page lists a sell worth of 250 in-game currency, while the Transmogrifying Items page describes depositing the crystal at Bandit’s Shop. Because the pages do not agree on the sale details, check the current shop interface before counting on a particular interaction or value.

Why the exact drop threshold is uncertain
The community-maintained Shop page says the relevant character needs an infection streak greater than 1. The Transmogrifying Items page says a streak of at least 1 can qualify and that the chance rises with the streak. The Kaiju page also gives a formula, but its accompanying text contradicts that formula about the minimum streak. The consistent practical guidance is to build a higher streak before defeating an eligible character; these pages do not establish the live-game odds or an exact guaranteed threshold.
