For a typical Old School RuneScape Fishing Trawler run, plan on using about 5–10 swamp paste if you mainly repair leaks to build activity at the start. You do not need 150 paste for one game: that is a generous reserve recommendation. The Old School RuneScape Wiki also gives 30 as a minimum for a perfect run, but these are community strategy figures, not official requirements or guaranteed consumption.

The figures are approximate wiki guidance, with no publication year stated. Actual use depends on how many leaks you repair, how the team divides tasks, and whether you bail water to contribute activity instead.
Why can one run use more paste than another?
Swamp paste is used to patch leaks in the boat. Leak frequency and the share of repairs assigned to you vary between runs. In a larger or coordinated team, players can divide leak repairs, bailing, and net repairs. If you repair enough leaks to build activity and then switch to bailing, you may use less paste than someone who keeps repairing.
Fishing Trawler is a team activity at Port Khazard. A game lasts five minutes, and level 15 Fishing is required to receive fish. Those rules do not establish a fixed amount of paste per player.

How do you get swamp paste?
You can buy swamp paste from in-game shops or make it by combining swamp tar and flour, then cooking the mixture on a fire. The item is also used for other in-game repairs, as described on the Old School RuneScape Wiki item page.
