What does each purchase route cost?
Nintendo’s U.S. store lists each Challenger Pack at $5.99, Fighters Pass Vol. 1 at $24.99, Fighters Pass Vol. 2 at $29.99, and Piranha Plant Standalone Fighter at $4.99. The totals below use those regular prices and exclude tax; sales or other regions can change the amount.

At the listed regular prices, the pass route with Piranha Plant is $10.91 less than buying all eleven packs individually and adding the plant. The comparison assumes no sale or applied points. Which fighters are included in the passes?
The passes contain eleven Challenger Packs altogether: Vol. 1 has five, and Vol. 2 has six. Each pack includes one fighter, one stage, and music. Piranha Plant is sold separately and is not included in either pass; Nintendo’s official Smash Bros. DLC page identifies that exclusion.

What is not included in the price?
These figures cover the listed fighter DLC, not the base game. Nintendo identifies Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as required software for the DLC, so anyone who does not already own the game must account for it separately. The totals also do not include tax, and they are specific to the U.S. store’s regular prices; other regional stores, promotions, and price changes may differ.
