For PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC, plan for at least 40 GB of free space; PUBG recommends 50 GB available. Those are free-space requirements, not a measurement of the game’s exact installed size. How much space does PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS need on PC?

In other words, make sure your drive has the stated amount free before installing. The figures do not say that the installed game folder will occupy exactly 40 or 50 GB. Installed size can differ from the requirement and may change with updates; the official pages cited above do not provide a current measured folder size.
Does the PC size apply to console?
No confirmed console storage figure is given in the sources cited here, so do not use the PC requirement as a verified console install size. PUBG’s November 3, 2025 console transition announcement says that from Update 38.2, PUBG Console supports PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PlayStation users needed to download the PS5 version after the transition, but the announcement does not state its storage requirement.
How large is PUBG MOBILE?
A single current full-install figure is not established by the official sources cited here. The amount depends on the version, device platform, and game resources downloaded. Official historical update announcements show why one package size should not be mistaken for the total installed game:

These figures are historical examples only. They cannot tell you how much space a current PUBG MOBILE installation, including downloaded resources, will take.
Why PUBG storage estimates differ
- Different editions: PC, console, and PUBG MOBILE are distinct platform versions; a requirement for one is not automatically valid for another.
- Different measurements: Free space required, an update download, and the installed folder size are not interchangeable.
- Different versions and content: Updates can change the files installed, while mobile resources may be downloaded separately or optionally.
For the desktop version, use the current official PC requirements—40 GB minimum and 50 GB recommended free. For other platforms, check the store or device’s current listing rather than treating those PC figures or old mobile update packages as a full-size estimate.
