Who is on Team Cherry?
Team Cherry’s current Hollow Knight: Silksong website says the studio is a team of three. Its About page names Ari Gibson, William Pellen and Jasmine Vine, with Gibson and Pellen as co-directors and Vine as the coder. The Silksong page also assigns game design and art responsibilities to Gibson and Pellen, and coding to Vine.
Team Cherry is an indie game developer based in Adelaide, South Australia, according to its official pages. The reported headcount is the studio’s own description, not an independently audited employment figure.
Why does a 2021 interview name Jack Vine?
Nintendo Australia’s interview, published on 20 July 2021, also described Team Cherry as a three-person studio, but named Ari Gibson, William Pellen and Jack Vine. The current official Team Cherry pages reviewed name Jasmine Vine. Those sources do not explain the difference, so there is no established explanation to add.
