Sleep in a bed
If you have a bed, activate its head to lie down and sleep. According to the Official Terraria Wiki, sleeping makes time pass five times faster on Desktop, Console, and Mobile. Its example is one in-game hour taking 12 real-world seconds while sleeping. This accelerates the clock; it is not an instant night skip.

What is known about the Cosmolight’s behavior?
The Calamity Mod Wiki’s indexed history says version 1.1.7.864 changed the item’s behavior so that using it during the day or night set time to the beginning of that period and cycled moon phases. That is a version-specific history note, not confirmation of the complete behavior in the current release.
Does Journey Mode change how quickly time passes?
