The build must meet the live task’s stat and size requirements; check those in your game before buying parts, because quest specifications can change between updates.
What the MP-133 build needs
Current community-maintained references list these requirements for the modified shotgun. Confirm them against the task text in your own game before assembling it, including the durability requirement.
- At least 45 ergonomics
- Recoil of 850 or lower
- Inventory size of no more than four cells
- Magazine capacity of at least five shells
- A tactical device, such as a laser
- 60 durability, as listed in the quest specifications
The quest is assigned by Mechanic and requires an MP-133. The task’s live requirements should take priority if they differ from a guide.

Trader availability and barter terms can change. After assembling the weapon, check its displayed stats and make sure every requirement in the current quest interface is met before handing it over.
How to hand in the shotgun
- Open Mechanic’s quest interface and read the current Gunsmith Part 1 specifications.
- Buy or obtain an MP-133 and the parts needed to satisfy the listed requirements.
- Install the parts, then inspect the shotgun’s ergonomics, recoil, magazine capacity, tactical device, inventory size, and durability against the task text.
- Return to Mechanic’s task interface and submit the qualifying MP-133 using the hand-in option.
If the quest check mark is missing
TarkovHead reports that the check mark may fail to display consistently even when a gun qualifies. Treat the displayed requirements and the in-game hand-in result as the deciding checks rather than relying on that mark alone. If the weapon cannot be handed in, compare each of its stats and installed parts with the current task specifications.
