The Finger of God is the eleventh main quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Bury three bodies with Godwin, learn to use a pistole, finish any optional Nebakov camp tasks you want, then sleep to begin the siege. The preparations are optional, but sleeping advances the quest directly to the attack.
1. Bury the dead with Godwin
At the start of the quest, follow Godwin to the burial site behind the Nebakov stables. Take the spade beside the three marked graves, dig each grave, then carry the bodies from the nearby path and bury all three. Speak to Godwin when you are done.

2. Learn to use the pistole
Follow Godwin to the fosse, also described as the archery range, for a hand-cannon tutorial. Load and fire the pistole as instructed; the PowerPyx walkthrough describes firing three times before receiving a pistole. Gamer Guides says the target contest is mainly for bragging rights: hitting the target is not required to keep the weapon and ammunition. (PowerPyx; Gamer Guides)
3. Decide whether to help around Nebakov
Before bed, you can take on optional camp tasks. They can provide rewards, improve relationships, or help prepare allies for the defense; they are not alternate main-story routes. Do any tasks you care about before sleeping, because sleep starts the siege.

Help Bluster move sacks
Open Bluster’s task through dialogue or a fight, then carry five sacks onto the cart.
Make horseshoes with Peltzel
Ask Peltzel if he needs help with horseshoes and use the forge. Follow the task’s instructions to obtain any recipe or materials you need.
Repair weapons for Bull
Calm Bull, collect the weapons from the barrel near the anvil, repair them with a blacksmith’s kit, and return them.

Treat the wounded with Klara
Help Klara treat the wounded prisoners. The guides associate success with a better relationship and a possible later romance scene. Patients may require different care, so inspect each one and follow the remedies and instructions available in your game rather than assuming a single treatment recipe applies to everyone.

Speak supportively with Hans. You can also play dice; Gamer Guides reports that the result affects only a small amount of money.
4. Sleep when you are ready for the siege
Sleep in the cabin to advance the story. If you completed the relevant Klara path, a romance scene may occur. PowerPyx reports that the scene grants a “Time Well Spent” buff, increasing Strength, Agility, and Vitality by one for the next battle. Henry wakes to the attack on the castle.
Assign available defenders to the gate or battlements. Gamer Guides recommends placing reserves at the gate, reasoning that the battlements already have enough defenders; this is a tactical suggestion, not a required assignment.

Repel the first attacks
Follow the objective prompts and knock down ladders as attackers raise them against the battlements. When the gate comes under attack, move there to help defend it.
Defend the gate and lower fortress
During the gate fight, PowerPyx describes dropping stones through a hatch above the gate; killing an enemy this way can earn a trophy. If the gate is defended, speak with Zizka and then repel a reserve attack in the lower fortress. If the gate defense fails, the lower-fortress reserve objective is skipped and the quest moves to the courtyard defense.
Finish the courtyard fight
Help Godwin in the courtyard to complete the siege sequence. The story continues with the next main quest, Storm.
