  • Green: Parts of a stringed instrument.
  • Blue: Actions that can occur in legal proceedings.
  • Purple: Words from a familiar first-star wishing rhyme.

Connections answers for March 15, 2025

The 16 words in the grid were PEG, SUE, MOVE, NEEDLE, MAY, BARB, NECK, TONIGHT, BRIDGE, MIGHT, WISH, STRING, BRISTLE, SERVE, SPINE, and CHARGE.

Yellow: Sharp protrusion

BARB, BRISTLE, NEEDLE, SPINE

Green: Features of stringed instruments

BRIDGE, NECK, PEG, STRING

Blue: Litigation verbs

CHARGE, MOVE, SERVE, SUE

Purple: In “Star Light, Star Bright”

MAY, MIGHT, TONIGHT, WISH

Why the less obvious words fit

PEG belongs with instrument features as a tuning peg. MOVE is a legal verb when it means to make a motion. MAY, MIGHT, TONIGHT, and WISH appear in the familiar “Star Light, Star Bright” wishing rhyme.
