Epic’s Fortnite Battle Royale Community Goal was a limited-time event that ended on September 22, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Players cannot sign up for that event now. This guide explains how participation worked and which rewards Epic listed.
How participation worked
During the event, players signed up on the Community Goal website with an Epic account. After signing up, they earned one badge for every three Storm circles they survived in Battle Royale or Zero Build. Epic directed participants to the Community Goal website to track their progress.

Modes and matches that counted
- Battle Royale and Zero Build matches counted, whether ranked or unranked.
- Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads counted.
- Storm circles survived in Reload did not count.
Each qualifying Storm circle also added to the shared community goal. Participants who survived at least one Storm circle were eligible to receive an in-game reward when the community reached each milestone.
Personal badge rewards
Badges unlocked a separate set of personal cosmetics at these thresholds:

Check the in-game Shop for current listings; the completed event itself is no longer open for signup or participation.

Quick Recap
Best Value
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device.
